Enjoyable
A must for anyone interested in Audrey. The book is a personal review of her life through facts, stories, and food. The layout is appealing, as well.

A very beautiful book
This is such a very beautiful book. This is much much more than any old book. It’s so much nicer and it has so many beautiful photos of Audrey, her family, her dear and very closest friends and so much more. It even open up to her fans and everyone that admires Audrey and it even let anyone and everyone who love her so much and let you in on the time she’s spent all over the world durning her filming/films and tell of how much time she’s spent durning intimate and private time through her life. She has gone through so much from the times before, durning and after her beautiful career and time she had to endure with her family. It Carrie’s her admires through times of her life that I thought I knew of her life when I actually never honestly knew the dept of. I knew Hepburn endured much throughout her life but never as much as I could have actually truly and honestly could really know the honest meat and potatoes unless I’d gotten this beautiful book put together by the ones that truly knew this queen as much and better than non other than her family and her son. Thank you so much for them for allowing me to deeply and honestly explore as much as I truly loved learning all that I have from her loving friends and especially the true and honest love of her life her children and especially her darling *Luca*. Thank you dearly for opening up and opening my eyes and guiding true admires like myself especially into the life and enjoyment inland all of the things and times of her life that she truly enjoyed and so many of the enjoyments Audrey felt that were so important to her throughout her life especially her charities that she traveled all over the world to fulfill as Ambassador of UNICEF, an advocate for children rights, her mission to Ethiopia, Hepburn was such a beautiful beautiful soul inside and out. The recipes and beautiful stories and pictures of her, friends and her family.. to anyone like myself that truly truly love everything Audrey Hepburn. I first fell in love while watching her for the very first time when I was 13 yrs old and she portrayed Holly in Breakfast at Tiffany’s I still remember it so well. on a late Sunday evening (that really really was my very first time watching her, watching her in a movie, and it was even the very first time I’d ever even heard of an Audrey Hepburn period. I watched her that late evening on TCM (Time Classic Movie) on television and I had to be interrupted by my mommie bc I had to get to bed but I recorded the movie before I went to bed and finished that next evening watching Holly and I loved her and her character in that movie and feel in love with all of her movies minus the musical she performed, I love her so much but I just couldn’t get into the musical which I’m for sure didn’t hurt the lovely lovely beautiful Hepburn. I love this book and it truly show everything that truly Audrey lovers really really love, including myself. Beautiful book about Audrey Hepburn I mean I can truly go on z& on about my love for Audrey Hepburn ❤️ Rest in Heaven Mrs A. Hepburn ❤️

Delicious Audrey book
Just when you thought you'd read everything about Audrey there could ever be, here comes a charming book written by someone who should know his Audrey— her son, Luca Dotti. In "Audrey at Home" (subtitled "Memories of my Mother's Kitchen") he tells us that Audrey may not have been the best cook, but whatever she served was made with love. Love indeed makes everything taste delicious. This is not a recipe book with stories, this is a book of stories (and many photos) with recipes. Luca says if you only ever prepare two dishes, they should be Audrey's flour-less Chocolate Cake with Whipped Cream and Penne with Ketchup (which doesn't sound half bad— the ketchup is just a splash). Many of the recipes are very continental and perhaps a little too formal for the way we cook today, but this is cookbook reading of the best kind— no cooking required.Luca's memories of his parents are seen through a child's eyes. His life in Italy was carefree until his parents' divorce when Luca was twelve. Despite the split he remained close to his father, as did Audrey and Andrea. I always had the feeling Andrea Dotti was a bit of a bounder and could never fathom what Audrey saw in him. Luca reminds us that love can be blind.Audrey retired from films for many years to raise her two children, first in Italy, then in Switzerland. She loved her home there, "La Paisable", with its many gardens. The book's photos are candids, snapshots and/or family photographs with added snippets of recipe cards and notes. It's a privilege to get to know this out-of-the-public-eye Audrey, and I thank Luca for sharing. Of course we love her even more.

For every Audrey Hepburn fan... or anyone who loves food!
Audrey at Home - written by Audrey Hepburn's youngest son Luca Dotti - is a refreshing take on the late icon's life and stands apart from the countless books written about her. Part-recipe book and part-biography, Dotti's work balances an excellent execution of portraying his mother while also corresponding her life events with meaningful recipes. Personally, I thoroughly enjoyed reading the personal anecdotes and making the delicious recipes! During last year's quarantine, cooking Audrey's Spaghetti al Pomodoro was a hit in my family. Lately, I've enjoyed eating Tricolore Caprese Salad... even going so far as buying my own basil plant! While Audrey's recipes are apparent, there are personal recipes from her mother (affectionately referred to as Nonna Tè by the author), her best friends, and the family chefs. My most favorite fact was learning about her love of gardening and the pleasure she received whenever she was at La Paisible. I definitely recommend this book to every Audrey Hepburn fan - or anyone who loves cooking in general! Mr. Dotti does an excellent job grounding this remarkable woman into the genuine person everyone around her knew. From her remarkable humanitarian efforts to her steadfast love of family, Audrey Hepburn is undeniably timeless.

A lovely book
This book was so enjoyable and relaxing to read. The handwritten recipes throughout the book feel so homey and I’m excited to try them. Reading parts of Audrey’s life as a mother and friend, more so than as an actress made me like her even more. The book itself is lovely and is a nice decor piece in my kitchen.

Part of the book fell out
The media could not be loaded. Excited to get this! Audrey is my idol. Only downside - part of the book fell out. But it was only a small part in the back of the book. It didn’t effect the quality/content. I just keep it tucked in the back of the book.
