I really like this thing. Be warned though, my cat can open it!!!! Also, the metal cubes you use to change the combination. 2 of mine were wrong. I was going to take a pic but forgot. The brass colored ones are for the numbers you want your code to be. I had 2 brass ones that were the wrong shape and they didn't work. So I could only do a 4 digit code

Well, still the air fryer I got is my best purchase in 2021 but this door knob is absolutely the second best purchase in 2021.We used to have a regular door knob with a tiny turn switch (I don’t know what it is called but it will lock the door when you turn it then close the door.) on the garage door facing to the backyard. My husband likes to turn the switch on whenever he passes through the door and it sometime locked me out while I was working in the yard. After numerous times I asked him to check before he turns the little switch, I got annoyed enough and decided to saw off the bar inside the knob so even if he turns the switch, it doesn’t lock the door. It was such a satisfaction but it decreased the home security.This door knob solved everything. I can unlock the door without having a key with me all the time and my easily-forget-about-this-door husband doesn’t need to remember to replace any batteries. This knob might have saved our marriage LOL.

This is now my third lock of this kind I have purchased. I was constantly replacing the batteries on my old digital locks and finally found these. I am pleased that they never fail and are super easy to install.

Swapped out existing deadbolt with very little trouble. The only snag was the deadbolt body was slightly longer than the old one. A few seconds use of a battery drill and a 3/4" paddle bit fixed that issue. The remainder of the install was easy-peasy.

order of the code does not have no effect! say your code is 1234. the 4321, 2134, or any combination of 1234 will open the lock. no repeat number can be set. the odds of opening the lock is very high.

I rarely post reviews, but the seller enclosed a note asking if I was pleased to post a review of the product.I'm more than pleased and am considering a 2nd unit to install on a custom gate into our backyard.I built a small utility shed to house my high end all battery powered lawn care equipment like our Ego mower and lawn accessories - I also built the door as a solid wood door - that required drilling all of the necessary lock-set holes mortises and so on.Easy to install and "program" the mechanical code.Would purchase again - highly recommend.Their are a couple of "errors" in the schematic drawings as far as labeling - but just a little thought straightens that out.Actual lock install time including "programming" was less than 30 minutes.May update my review later to see how it holds up over time.

Great idea worth 5 stars. Really wanted to love it but Minus two stars for two reasons. Also not the best customer service (emailed them and never heard back, called and no one answered) but not going to remove a star for that.Con #1: after a rainy week, the handle and chrome plate is already rusting in spots. I sent them photos but no one replied. Not a ding for the customer service but def a star loss for not being weather proof.Con #2: the functionality is NOT intuitive. If you open the door from the outside, then go inside and LOCK the door, the door can still be OPENED from the outside. You have to actually open the door from the outside, then lock it, THEN go inside and open and lock it again so the door locks from the outside.This was a huge issue as I had solicitors open my door and walk in twice and I couldn’t figure out how they opened it from the outside. User beware.
