Can I bake a small cake?

In the customer picture section, some one did bake a cake.

Where is this manufactured?

I still have the original box that my dash skillet came in and on the bottom of the box it says New York. But that's the only address and state that's showing on the box. Hopefully this is helpful .

is this deep enough to hold a whole chicken in?

Parts, but not whole. I will say however, that the knob on the lid was broke, and I sent it back and did not replace it
