Perfect fit
I used the Amazon “See it in your room” feature and it was pretty much spot on. Fits the space well. I needed a smaller case to organize my overflow CDs that had been stowed around the house in drawers, cabinets, closets and boxes. I wanted all the matching brothers and sisters to finally be in one place so I can enjoy them more. Building the kit was pretty straightforward and I guess we’ve done enough of them to know what comes next. Instructions were pretty clear. The price was good for me. I know it’s not “real” wood but I think it looks pretty quality. All my ducks in a row A-Z!

You'd be surprised at how many Blu-rays or DVDs (and CDs) that this media case holds.
Once the shelves are in place, this is a sturdy piece of "mock" furniture. As for "mock," it's as good as any $4,000 bookcase. Its value is its storage capacity and its stability. It isn't wobbly when its shelves are loaded. They are slender, meaning they could fall forward or backward (if free-standing and not against a wall), so take care in making sure it doesn't fall over. For instance, if you plan to stand these cases on thick carpeting, it's the carpeting that makes the case unstable. Whether if the cases are against a wall and are tilted a 1/4" toward the wall, take the times to use the included device to affix the case to the wall.I have two "quad" media cases and four "double" cases (this item on this page). That's a lot of storage space AND the shelves keep the DVDs, Blu-rays, CDs virtually dust free.Amazon ships these things with a shipping company. They shipped via FedEx, UPS and DHL. I have always gotten a tracking number, so I know exactly when it's coming. The delivery is brought right to the front door. The box is heavy, but now awkward. The box itself containing the parts is heavy-duty. I have never found broken, chipped pieces of the particle board. I have never had any missing hardware (nails, studs for holding the shelves). The carton is never smashed or opened. The sides are labeled A, B, C, etc. Labels on the pieces tell you which upright is the left side, the middle, and the right side. The labels are removable without leaving a trace of glue or paper. The laminate is quality. It doesn't fall off after a while. My first quad shelving unit is 15 years old and it looks as new as the brand new double case I just bought. The pegs that are inserted into the uprights to hold the shelves are made of metal. They fit "just right" in the pre-drilled holes. Four pegs, two on each side, front and back, support the shelf. The bottom of the shelf has two grooves, front and back, where the pegs rest under the shelf. There are dozens of pre-drilled steel peg holes up and down the uprights, so you can easily adjust the distance between shelves.51" tall X 36-1/2" X wide (including the overhanging lip) X 6" deep. The baseboard is 38-1/2" wide X 8-3/4" deep.

Quality Control sucks
Quality Control Lacking. One of the sides had the wrong size holes drilled in the bottom. Now the screws will not work because the holes are too big. I will fill the holes to shrink there size to make the screws work. This company lacks the quality Saunder furniture has.

Looks like the picture, works like expected
Easy enough to assemble, though not as no-brainer as some DYI items. The backing uses tape (on the back) to hold the pieces together and it doesn't have the predrilled nail holes that I've seen before. But once it's together and all the particle board dust is cleaned up, it's a sturdy shelf that holds everything I needed it to. Thought I would fill it up with CDs, but had one row extra, so used two slots for the kids DVDs. Kind of weird staring at my CDs again after all these years, but while I was loading them, I started to remember bands and albums that I had put on the back burner. I've always been a record guy, so now that CDs are also kind of old school, it's good to see them again. Of course now there's CDs, LPs, a computer, and an iPod dock, all competing for space in the living room.

Tower of Storage
Simply put, it stores all my CDs, Dvds of all sizes in a double media tower. It was very easy to put together. All the parts were minimal and putting the tower together was done in 17 minutes. The packaging the unit it came in protected the parts/unit and no damage or scratches were found even though the box was damaged when received. I like the design and ease of storing the CDs and DVDs etc. The metal plugs that hold the shelves were easy to put in and pull out when installing the shelves. The whole unit is connected with dowels and three lock down pegs nuts only. This does allow the unit to wobble and is why the unit comes with wall/tower adapters and plastic strap to connect to a wall. This is the only draw back for me. The base is not wide enough and the tower is not securely mounted to the baseand only by dowels. The base is not wide enough for this tall tower and allows it to wobble when taking or putting a CD/DVD in and out of the tower. I have the unit standing on a thick tug which makes even worse. I placed shanks under the unit to stablelize the unit. This not the units fault but something the manufactuer needs look at when designing the base for this unit. The tower needs to be centered on the base and not more to to the back side of the base as is which allows it wobble. I am still well pleased as it does what I wanted it for and looks great. I would have given it a 5 star if wasn't for the wobble in the unit, but gave it a four because it's not the units fault I stored it away from the wall and on a thick rug. I recommend it anyone who has a wood floor etc and no thick rugs and will store unit against a wall. Lots of storage space in this unit.

Decent DVD/Blu-ray cabinet just not worth $170.
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Decent movie shelving, but definitely not worth the $170. they wanted, glad I got it on sale! It's all just particle board, no real wood anywhere.Functionality:Good luck getting it squared up so shelves fit! the cheap backing that's a step up from cardboard (that you have to nail on) is the only thing keeping it from moving side to side
