Cute and colorful but not real big if you have a lot of birds you will fill it quite frequently. It is easy to fill and hangs great.

Well made, the red color looks so pretty in my trees. The birds can ravage it, as sometimes they are pigs. A little harder to get seed out which is good.

Metal is a bit misleading. The tube is metal but the perches are plastic. Squirrels already chewing them. They should be metal. And The perches are a bit small.Update : Seller offered me full refund but I will decline as is a pretty feeder. I hope the seller changes from plastic perches to metal in the future. I have updated 1 star for their response.

Birds love this bird feeder and I have to refill it every 2 to 3 days. Colorful.

I’m the semi-retired old guy who created and maintains the feeder station outside my building. All to the benefit of my (multiple) neighbors, who have cats who watch from nearby windows. A few weeks after placing this beauty out in the honeysuckle, I noticed it moved: to a shepherd’s hook placed by my neighbor closer to the building. Since I’m the guy who buys and stocks the feeders, and love how it looks among the honeysuckle, I moved it back. Well, this thing is so adorable, my neighbor done went and moved it closer to him again. Damn, neighbor. But, I mean, this feeder is that cute. Plus, it’s easy to fill, made of metal and comes with replacement guards, for when your squirrels get, well, squirrelly.

Well the birds have ALL figured out the feeder, including the Blue Jays. It’s hysterical to watch, the Jays will Bend their bodies in half on the bottom of the feeder in order to reach the first perch. A benefit to us is the Jays can be pushy and take over a feeder, but now they don’t stay too long which allows the other birds to feed also. I would definitely buy another one because it has endured heavy rain, hail and snow without fading. Highly recommend! Note: the perches could be a tad longer but we still are very happy with the quality! ORIGINAL review: I adore this cute bird feeder. It take awhile for the birds to figure this feeder out because the perches are so small and close together. Our Blue jays can’t fit so we’ve lost the pleasure of watching them. This is why only four stars.

It’s beautiful and very well built… but the birds don’t care for it too much. They like the clear one better!

I just had this delivered and put it out immediately. No visitors yet but it is definitely the prettiest feeder I have owned and feels well made.I had a little trouble with the metal handle not staying in, but with some pliers and strategic bending the problem is solved.I don't know how weather resistant this will be, the lip of the roof doesn't go all the way around, so when this sways in the wind a small entrance to the feed becomes visible near the roof's apex. I hung it under an awning in an attempt to mitigate that, we shall see.Overall, beautiful and well made.

Habe mir den Futterspender bestellt, weil meine durchsichtige Futtersäule für Körner immer wieder (erfolglos) von hungrigen Tauben angeflogen wird und dieser dann heftig gegen das Fenster knallt.Dadurch, dass der Inhalt nicht erkennbar ist, hoffte ich, dass das aufhört. Das hat bisher hervorragend geklappt.Allerdings zeigen wohl aus dem Grund auch die Spatzen bisher keinerlei Interesse. Habe bisher erst einmal ein junges Spatzenweibchen dabei beobachtet, wie es sich hastig und ängstlich einen Sonnenblumenkern daraus entnahm.Aber vielleicht ist ihnen das leuchtend gelbe Objekt auch einfach noch zu neu und daher suspekt? Mal sehen, ob sich ihr Verhalten noch ändert.Die Meisen haben den Futterspender jedenfalls sofort für sich entdeckt und kommen regelmäßig zu Besuch. Das ist mir eigentlich auch ganz Recht, weil sich die kleinen Vögelchen so nicht mit der großen Spatzenbande und den Tauben um Futter streiten müssenAusschlaggebend für meine Kaufentscheidung war außerdem, dass das Rohr , das Dach und der Bügel zum Aufhängen aus stabilem Metall bestehen.Lediglich die Löcher mit den Sitzstangen und die durchsichtige Auffangscheibe unten bestehen aus Plastik.Besonders toll finde ich, dass der Sendung gleich zwei Einsätze mit Sitzstangen als Ersatz beigelegt waren, falls doch mal eine kaputt gehen sollte.Im Sinne der Nachhaltigkeit äußerst lobenswert. 👍Habe lange überlegt, ob ich diesen Futterspender mit seiner leuchtenden Farbe und den aufgemalten Motiven womöglich später doch als zu kitschig empfinden könnte. Normalerweise bevorzuge ich ja eher schlichtere Dekos aus Naturmaterialien und weniger grellen Farben.Freue mich jetzt aber sehr, mich dafür entschieden zu haben, denn er ist ein echter Hingucker und fügt sich optisch wunderschön in die allmählich grün werdenden Zweige ein. Das sonnige Gelb sorgt auch an trüben Tagen für gute Laune ☀️Die Futtersäule ist kinderleicht befüllbar und durch das Dach hervorragend vor Regen und Nässe geschützt.Was mir im Vergleich zu anderen Modellen auch sehr positiv aufgefallen ist, ist, dass die Körner da bleiben, wo sie hingehören, nämlich in den Löchern, und nicht massenweise auf den Boden fallen.Somit füttert man damit tatsächlich auch nur die kleinen Singvögel und nicht ungewollt auch Tauben oder gar Mäuse und Ratten.Um das unerwünschte Herausfallen der Körner zusätzlich zu vermeiden, habe ich das Vogelhäuschen mit etwas Pflanzendraht so fixiert, dass es ganz senkrecht hängt und nicht mehr frei schwingen kann, wenn es angeflogen wird.Das klappt super und es fällt seitdem praktisch nichts mehr heraus.Überlege jetzt, noch ein zweites als Geschenk für mein Patenkind zu bestellen. Kann mich nur nicht entscheiden, ob ich nochmal gelb nehme oder diesmal türkis wähle, was auch sehr hübsch aussieht.Update:Habe ihr nun doch das blaue Häuschen zum 8. Geburtstag geschenkt.Sie liebt es und wollte es am liebsten in ihrem Kinderzimmer aufhängen, weil sie es so hübsch findet.Kommt aber demnächst doch auf den Balkon.

I likes that grackles can't feed from it. The smaller birds are happy. I also like that it came with 2 replacement pirches.
