Barbie Kelly Swan Lake Complete 6 seet doll set

This doll is so adorable, and arrived in perfect condition. My daughter is going to love it because she is oddly OBSESSED with skunks! When we watched the Barbie Swan Lake movie, she fell in love with this character, so I was thrilled to find the doll. It is going to be a Valentine's Day gift for her.

I expanded a themed study with my grandchildren by adding affordable Kelly characters in costume from the Barbie DVD of Swan Lake. They were all adorable, but this one was especially cute with her red headress and shoes contrasted against the black and white costume. Costume is very well made and is removable, but I don't recommend that unless you are trying to increase fine motor skills in little fingers. I needed that for my kids. But....after all, these costumes are so tiny and delicate. They can be ripped easily. So if you're going to risk it, make sure you have needle and thread around to avoid tearful after experiences. ( Or maybe a cool temp glue gun?) As a Grandma, I was surprised to note that my girls didn't even know what thread and needles were. They were slightly amazed at how clever that worked.I would give this 5 stars, except it was a little pricey as Kelly dolls go. I'm sure they're hard to find though. I'm not interested in them as collector's items, but you might be. This one was in great condition, and the box, too.
