I have 2 stinky dogs that love onto walk muddy pawprint through out the house. This carpet shampoo really gets the carpets clean and smelling fresh when we use it in our vaxx. I don't dilute the solution and have never had any problems. 5 litres of excellent shampoo for under £20 is just amazing value for money, especially one that works so well. It doesn't foam up excessively and has managed to remove dog poop, wee and that nasty yellow stomach bile vomit dogs like to do. It's very good and I highly recommend it. The fragrance lingers for a little while too.

I have a vax carpet cleaningachine, and previously only used their shampoo but I was dissatisfied with the outcome. It was too bubbly and the finish was patchy as a result. I found this carpet cleaner and decided to buy based on the reviews. I've only just managed to use it as I've been decorating. I have a dog and a teenager so my light silver carpet was really grubby as it hadn't been done in a couple of months.Within the first 5 muns, I was amazed at how good a job this solution had done. One section of carpet was already looking brand new! I'd forgot just how light my carpet was! The previous attempts to clean had obviously not been very good, I thought I was maybe doing something wrong and had even contemplated getting a new machine and carpet.So, I've a carpet that looks almosr as good as the day it was bought, it being a deep pile, it's fluffy in parts but that's wear and tear. Cleanliness wise, it's as new! The smell is lovely, subtle, fresh and clean. The vax shampoo left the house smelling foisty for a few days afterwards. You can see from the pictures just how good a job its done. The carpet pic was taken within a few minutes of me starting.I've previously washed my carpet every 4-8 weeks with the vax stuff, and I can see now, this just skimmed the surface. This stuff gets right in. I'm embarrassed by the filth that's been living in my carpet but I'm prepared to show it to the world to show how good this product is.Oh, the other amazing benefit, it took half the time to get 1000% more clean. As someone with chronic pain and disability, this is going to make maintaining this standard so much easier. AND at a hell of a lot better value too. I will buy again, though because so little is used it may be a while 😊. But I will buy again and will be telling everyone I know how good Dirt busters is. Well after spending a fortune on different carpet shampoos, I gave in & brought this, I have a rescue Beagle, she was over bred and has accidents, my carpets have had a hammering. 🙈🙈🙈🙈🙈We gave in brought a rug doctor, and now I have brought this shampoo, to be honest I was not expecting it to work, but to my surprise its done the best job out of all of them.Smells lovely when you open it, sadly that smell dose not come across while using it, or after carpet is dry, but it dose remove the heavy staining left, and dose bring more to the surface, so may have to go over a few times, if there is any. It dose get rid of the smell.I have a 2lt rug doctor & use an old lid from a mouth wash to get the mix right, it works well.Very little dose go along way. So worth the money and I shall be buying it again.

For the price I had little expectations from this product. My light grey carpet hasn’t had a wash in well over 12 months and was at a dark beige, light brown stage having seen its fair share of muddy shoes, work boots, cats and various parties. Used in a Bissell ProHeat X2 revolution pet pro, this carpet was immediately restored back to its original colour. I didn’t measure out as stated on the package, I just filled to just below the water line and filled right up to the top with the shampoo. Doesn’t leave any lingering scents, but a light fresh scent whilst running the machine. If you’re undecided about trying this shampoo, give it a try you’ll be surprised.

This carpet cleaner works well for its stated purpose - fixing pet stains and odours. A visiting dog had a sensitive stomach whilst staying and vomited as well as doing what doggies do onto a favourite wool rug. The cleaner (used in a Vax Spotwash) dealt with the problems and even managed to get rid of a couple of coffee spills I realised were on the carpet when I got up close! Nicely concentrated so takes a little to achieve a lot. It's a nice fragrance but not overpowering and when it fades, there's no hint of the reason for the carpet cleaning. So good I am giving some to a friend with an elderly doggy whose accidents are getting worse, and a friend with a puppy on housetraining stage.

A little goes a long way and seems fine. Leaves a nice fresh scent in the room and really does get the dirt out great on spilled tea stainsSeems a good deal for the price. I don’t think I will need to purchase again for a long time

I got a VAX spot cleaner to tackle my puppies stealth urinations, and for a time seemed to be fighting a losing battle. I had to use the spot cleaner a LOT!If I had used VAX own brand cleaner I would likely be bankrupt by now. Thankfully I found this from Dirtbusters, all the product details seemed to be just right to make me feel I was buying a decent product from a good company, and I have not had reason to think otherwise.After a challenging battle with my pooch to keep on top of the secret stains (it's a dark carpet, smell and dampness were my indicators), I still have just over 4 litres of this left which is going to last me a considerably long time. Very happy with this purchase. I rated the scent as 4/5 simply because it does not really linger around and continue to make the carpet smell nice. I may be being harsh though as presumably a stronger, more long lasting scent would require more nasty chemicals. After the relentless ammonia smell, having no scent left on the carpet is a definite win!
