How is this compared to Honey B Healthy?

HiveAlive has published proven data to back it up. Feeding HiveAlive gives more bees, more honey, improved intestinal wellbeing and improved overwinter survival. Can't find data on HBH website. Ingredients in HiveAlive = blend of seaweed extracts, thyme and lemongrass. Seaweeds are used in animal feed to improve gut health, productivity, immune function, nutrition and general health. Ingredients in HBH = spearmint & lemongrass. Amounts required: HiveAlive = just 2 tsp per gallon syrup. HBH = 4-8 tsp per gallon syrup Price per gallon syrup: If buying 100ml bottle of HiveAlive for $25.99, price per gallon syrup is $2.59. If buying 8oz HBH for $22.95 and require 8 tsp per gallon syrup this would cost $3.76 per gallon syrup. Both prevent syrup from fermenting.

In addition to supplementing in syrup in spring has anyone also sprayed on new foundation to encourage package bees to draw comb?

I just tried it this fall, I had bees move into a hive this late fall and thought it might help them make it this winter. I know that they will need all the help they can get.

How is this stored once the bottle is opened?

This is such a great product. I wish I knew about it sooner. This works much better than the other product because it has a less tendency to cause robbing than the competitor brand. Helps preserve sugar water from fermentation.

It works!

I will never be without this during spring and fall sugar syrup feeding. So easy to add to the syrup. I first used it this past year…I just finished harvesting honey and the quantity more than doubled. I have many more bees. It really,really works.

Helps with brood production and syrup viability

My beehives love this product. Very happy so far. We in north AL are nearing end of spring nectar flow(May 30th) and this really helps get them stimulated to make more brood and wax.

Works perfect

New Hive... Used this for feeding in sugar water! Easy to mix and feed with my Apimaye feeder installed. The bees did very well! I actually did not find varroa mites or hive beetles all summer. This is the first winter but gave them Hive Alive Pollen Patties to help with winter feeding. I will start then off in the Spring with Hive Alive Sugar water. Glad I tried Hive Alive.

For healthy bees

The product is great, use it all the time when feeding sugar water to my bee.Not very pleased with condition of the packaging. Feels like I received a “returned” item. The box top came ripped off letting me think that it could have been tampered with. I don’t know if the bottle top had a safety seal or not.I may returning.
