Perfect Laminator!
I absolutely love this laminator! I have wanted for awhile, I seem to always come across things that make me think, "if I had a laminator...!" So I finally decided to get one!As expected, the options are nearly limitless, and it can be really overwhelming going into a purchase like this! I started reading reviews, comparing prices, looking at various specifications, trying to figure out what would fit my needs. I am a homeschooling mom, so I wanted this to be able to turn ordinary worksheets into reusable, dry erase worksheets! Also for protecting flash cards, and preserving artwork. I knew I wanted a machine that could do different paper sizes, and different thicknesses. The ease of this machine, as well as the 13" length appealed to me, the reviews were very good overall and the price was great!I must say, after using this machine a few times, I am very pleased with the quality! The laminations come out smooth and even nearly every time! Only twice I have sent the same page through and it came out slightly less than perfect . Both times I had three layers inside the pouch, and I expected it to take a second run through before sealing completely. After the second trip, each was great! I have had no problems at all with it thus far! It laminates at a great speed, when the sheet comes out the other it isn't warped or rounded, no bubbles, no funny seals. So far, I have only used the included sheets and I like them enough to have ordered more.I can't say it's necessary, as it's the only way I have used the machine, but I use a piece of blank, ordinary card stock underneath that which I am laminating, to be sure of a nice even, flat feed into the machine. It works great to keep the page (or pages) in place inside the laminating sheet as it goes through.I highly reccomend this laminator! It heats up quickly, stays hot throughout multiple pages, seals cleanly, and only takes up a small amount of space! The extra length is great for normal kid sized art pages (9x12, not the typical 8.5x11, it makes a difference when you least expect it!), and it also takes much smaller projects perfectly (also fed with the card stock underneath to keep it straighter!). Definitely try this laminator if you're looking for something versatile and less costly than some other brands!

Possibly the best 20 bucks I've spent gearing up for my new classroom. I hate having to wait to get things laminated and I use a lot of pass arounds so I thought I would give this little laminator a try. It is fantastic. Heats in 3 minutes and as long as you don't try to race through a huge stack of stuff, it does an absolutely perfect job. I think 5 mil bags are a bit thick for classroom stuff so I will likely buy 3 mil next time, but their bags are also high quality, super clear and easy to work with. Best results with feeding one, waiting perhaps 30 seconds to a minute and feeding the next with the 5 mil bags. Give it time to recover. I haven't had to wait with the 3mil bags and standard papers. Love it that it can handle the wider stuff too as maps and things need the bigger format. Great product, super value.

it works really really well for what I paid.
lets be fair... its 15.00, we have put well over a thousand business cards through this thing... most times if you let it warm up it does just great. If your thinking man this is the best deal in the world because the other one i was looking at for the office was 500.00 then this is probably not the product you are looking forThe Good:· Its small / compact / very light weight ( easy to store any where )· VALUE ! ! !· It has an acceptable processing rate ( if your doing large items you may need to give it more rebound time )The Bad:·This thing has a slight smell of burning plastic and I think my lid has either warped or its so light weight its very flexible ( it had this on its first warm up, before I ever put any thing in it... i would not say its horrible but its thereObservations:·Does very well for us, but some times you need to run a card through a second time... either we did not warm it up enough ( says its ready in one min, i'd give it three or four ) or we processed to much and it needs time to rebound ( about 30 seconds )it would have been nice to have a feed speed on this thing... but to be fair there may be others that have that at a $20.00 price point and I bought this for $15.00.. .so keep it at 15.00 I like it.Bottom line - if it breaks i'm getting another one...
