Scratching driving you crazy? Try this.
This stuff works. We have had an awful flea problem for the past two years. We live out in the woods in West Tennessee. We even have the yard sprayed and they have flea collars. Still, fleas. Scratching all the time, diving us nuts. Four Bassett Hounds and a German Shepard. Within a few hours, little scratching going on. Now, hardly anything. I gave them Capstar and just use a sponge and about a half gallon of the mixed (it's a concentrate) solution under them. Basically, a sponge bath. Do not rinse off the solution. It works great. I do also put some of the mixed solution in a spray bottle and hit the furniture, bed and anything they like lay on. I will do this about once a month. The big bottle should last about 4-5 months and I will be doing the subscription for this product. If the scratching has you at your wits end, give this a try.

Its the most effective flea and tick shampoo I've tried....
Its a great product. I do recommend this as it did FAR BETTER than any of these so-called "Natural" flea and tick supplies like PetMD... its been over a week since the initial bathing and I've only seen one or two fleas when they were beyond infested before! The only reason I haven't given 5 stars is that it could be a bit more cost effective... or at least be given more product for the price. But regardless.... I HIGHLY RECIMMEND!

100% YES!! YOU WANT THIS ONE!
So, we have 5 beagles and 1 small older chihuahua that for months have ben incessantly scratching. We haven't seen any fleas and 3 of them have on the seresto collars and still are incessantly scratching. We haven't seen any fleas on any of the dogs or in our house. I've given them baths with a chlorhexidine/ ketaconazol shampoo because they have scratched and chewed so much they have made bald spots and sores on themselves. I've tried washing with flea shampoo even tho we haven't seen one flea the vet said sometimes you don't see them which made no sense but it's whatever. We have tried a tar and Sulfur shampoo and even just a regular 5 in one shampoo and NOTHING has helped. So I was like well, maybe it's an allergy to grass or the laundry detergent I'm using, maybe it's mites we can't see, I was going crazy trying to figure out what was wrong and trying to help them because It was making me miserable and I know they were misread because they could barely sleep because of the scratching and chewing. So, I decided to look for a flea dip here on Amazon, I read reviews religiously and ran across happy Jack's flea dip and the reviews didn't disappoint. Just got it yesterday, 9/26/23 and mixed 1oz with 2 gallons of water per directions and mixed it in a very large pot. I was told by the vet to wash them with a regular shampoo first and rinse them well because them being wet/damp first is best and then either use a sponge, rag or pour it over the dogs making sure to NOT get it in their eyes or ears. We used a thick sponge on the hard to reach places that pouring couldnt reach and also poured it over them, one by one in our tub all while lightly scratching and rubbing the liquid while being poured over them starting at the neck, working down the back slowly to the tail, working the liquid into the hair to get to the skin. I made sure to really soak them with it too. It says not to rinse them or dry them and to leave it on them but the vet said it was ok to take a towel and lightly pat them so they arent dripping too much and then let them go. Within 30 mins after they all were done, having the dip done, there was zero scratching and chewing and the rest of the night was quiet, still, no scratching, chewing and the next morning it was still all quiet with them. This stuff works!! Was it fleas? Mites? Chiggers from grass? I don't know what exactly was going on with all the dogs with the scratching and chewing but whatever it was, it is no more! It's now 9:45am and they are all sleeping soundly. Thank you Happy Jack, you have saved mine and my dogs sanity lol

Save your money. It's not worth it.
This item, being classified as a poison should have adequately killed the fleas, larvae, and eggs that are infesting my dog. Yet even after spraying it on her twice she still has fleas and is continuously scratching and gnawing at herself and I can see the fleas jumping around on her and jumping off of her, they're even jumping on me. I can see the flea eggs and the flea larvae. I honestly feel that this product promoted the infestation rather than eradicate the fleas. This product does not meet the standards that I have come to expect from Amazon.

Good Product…BUT….
Good product. Works well. No more itching, fleas or ticks on my baby puppy. Only problem is this product is Not made for puppy coat/fur. It dried my puppy coat out and it has become extremely dull and lacks it’s original texture and luxure. Lacks shine and curls are gone on my Maltipoo. No harsh smell, easy to use, value is worth it.

Works great!
I've used Happy Jack flea dip for years on my dogs. It works immediately and lasts. However, people that say there's no relief you should also treat your yard or animal living areas as well. Carpets can be sprinkled with borax and vacuumed. A very inexpensive indoor treatment... I also spray Wondercid in the yard, follow up with a granules a week or so later, that also help control mosquitoes. Keeping the lawn mowed, yard clear of brush, wood and water also will help!
