I wanted to love this Armoir ... But the shelves on the bottom of one side make the hanging on the other side quite useless

1) It's not espresso colored, it's closer to a cherry wood2) I mounted it in the wall and countersunk the screws, and if that was solid wood, I'll eat my hat. Maybe solid balsa wood, or something.3) There's no clearance between the shelves and the door; you can't have any jewelry that dangles farther than between a hook on the door and the next shelf below or you can't CLOSE it. I had to hang bracelets stretched over a COUPLE of the lowest hooks to get them hung high enough that the door would close.
