The wok is made of heavy gauge steel. It has these delicate dimples in it that makes it look excellent as a cook and serve. Adds an ethnic touch to the table. I have been using to cook since the day it has arrived. I am enjoying it! The heavy gauge prevents the food from burning and sticking to the base. And cleans up nicely. I would buy another or gift it - it is so good.

Good quality nice and heavy, don’t know if it’s real one or fake cause there is no lotus logo on it like the way they have showed on the Amazon website

Been using it for more than 5 months. No rust, pure steel.Steel is much better heat conductor than iron/aluminium. As a result cooking has become faster/less time consuming. And cooking requires less amount of flame(much flame burns the food).It's easy to wash.On the downside, being 1.8kg(yes I have weighted it, it is 1.8kg.) it is quite heavy and requires some time to get used to.Non the less it is very good alternative utensil for cooking instead of regular aluminium and nonstick cookwares, as it has no side effects.

It’s been more than 2 yr now and I am using this kadai for day to day cooking… and I am loving it specifically it’s so easy to clean and it stays so nice . Initially it was difficult for me to cook with it as I was not able to balance flame vs cooking time , this being steel offcourse but once you understand , rest all is easy , no burning no issue while cooking… thought share with you all
