I ordered this for a specific recipe. It's a less salty less harsh soy and I really like the flavor. I've used it for stir fry and to salt other veggie dishes. I love the flavor and the less harsh approach. I'm super sensitive to salt and this has been a great product alternative to salt. You won't be disappointed.

I cook a lot, and I am surprised by all the positive reviews of this product. I do not like this product - the taste and the packaging. First of all the bottle is plastic, not glass as it may seem in the photos. Usually products that are in glass bottles are packaged in protective cardboard tube like this one is. In my opinion the plastic bottling of this product tainted the taste of it. One of the ingredients is fermented alcohol. Too bad. For the contents and price, this product should be packaged in glass. I'm actually reluctant to service this to my family and friends, even though the plastic is technically BPA free. But who cares about that if the quality product is compromised?The taste of this sauce is rather salty, umami with a hint of plastic. Lighter and sweeter overall than dark soy sauce. But still - tastes plasticky. I guess I would try this again if it were bottled in glass. Currently, a waste of almost 30 bucks including shipping.
