This 6 quart slow cooker is a good size for a small family. Not too big or too small. Can fit a whole chicken in it! It has 4 settings: on, off, low,& high, and all settings work as they should. A very easy appliance to use. I recently used it for a chili cookout & it kept chili at a consistent low temperature for hours without burning it. I’m happy with this purchase and know we will get a lot of use out of it. Though it doesn’t have a locking lid, we bought a portable silicone locking band for it on Amazon which made transporting it to & from cookout easier. No spills!

Excellent product as long as you have reasonable expectations. This is a "no frills" slow cooker. It has a single selector switch and doesn't even have a power LED. It's as old school analog as it gets. There are no programable features, so if you want that, you need to look at another model and pay more. On the other hand, if all you need is a simple slow cooker that performs its job very well, this product is worth considering. We had a big-name cooker and my wife and I were not happy with its performance. With an office holiday potluck coming up, I ordered this based on the positive reviews. Its "baptism of fire" was a large batch of BBQ Meatballs, which cooked perfectly overnight and were enthusiastically consumed by my co-workers. BTW, it also does not have a latch arrangement for the lid, so I had to be careful transporting it to the office, but again, you get what you pay for. Being empty nesters (which seriously rocks!), we don't use a slow cooker that often, so I did not want to spend a lot. But when we need one, I have confidence this will produce excellent results. So, if a 70's-style throwback solution appeals to you, this slow cooker is worth a good look.

Cooks great and does exactly what it should. Heat settings are accurate—low really means slow and low. The lid fits well, and the size is perfect—not too big, not too small. The crock itself feels high quality, but the outer metal shell is on the thinner side and feels like it could dent easily. Still happy with it overall.

Perfect size for 2 people with leftovers. The lid and insert went in the dishwasher and came out spotless. The heat was consistent with the settings. I appreciate that the insert can be used in the microwave and will store leftovers in the refrigerator. It was very nice to lift the insert and serve from it.

Good crockpot. Really can’t go wrong and it’s very easy to use.

It’s light weight and easy to carry ( empty) lol I bought it because it’s larger capacity than what I had originally. I actually use it for canning. The one I had only held 2 jars at a time I can fit at least 4 in here! Yay! I love that it has a timer too! Easier for me so I don’t have to rush to turn it off so it can cool down. Heat level is even and 2 levels. Obviously I don’t smell anything when I’m canning lol I feel safe cooking with it and I plan to keep it a very long time.

he removable stoneware crock and glass lid are dishwasher-safe, which users find very convenient. I love the fact making it easy to prepare meals without constant monitoring especially while I work from home. My meals come out flavorful and evenly cooked!

I ordered this item because a taller round slow cooker is more convenient than the usual low oval models. Presumably the original slow cooker was based on a low oval pot which is ideal to fit in an oven and the manufacturers have stayed with convention. I did not notice that it was a 120 V model so changed the plug from north American to UK and used it. The power cord was inconveniently short and was not round as is best for easy cleaning. On setting to warm, there was no indicator to show that it was working. It boiled quickly on the lowest setting so I examined the rating plate and found it was a 120 V model. While packing for return I noticed the pot was not well glazed. There was a small sharp protrusion on the inside and several small round depressions on the base.

Great slow cooker for a 3lb chicken or 3 to 4lb roast beef. Just enough room if you're only cooking the chicken or roast without any additional vegetables. Otherwise a 6 qt slow cooker would be more adequate. Cooked my chicken and roast beef perfectly. I love this cooker so much and the smaller size that I bought two of them. Would be ideal for side dishes or a fruit crisp or crumble for dessert or even rice pudding. Now I'm getting hungry!
