Works very well, wish I knew about it sooner
It tracks the adventure sync distance very well for my iPhone 7 Plus. I did have to buy batteries so that it could swing on its own. So I bought rechargeable batteries. The rubber bands that came with the swing lasted me for over a year, I only recently needed to change them. I love this thing, it’s very helpful to hatch PoGo eggs and to help reach over 100km for some good adventure sync rewards.

If you have an iPhone and you play POKEMON GO, this is for you.
It walks for you. Got three shinies from the eggs already! However, it doesn't work on my Husband's Pixel 2 XL.

Amazing for Pokemon Go
Enable adventure sync, force close your Pokemon Go app, leave it swinging overnight, and get 30-40 km every day. Hatch eggs easily at home, get maximum adventure sync rewards every week and open egg slots for Monday rewards. You have to close your PoGo app to enable motion distance tracking via adventure sync with your health fitness app settings.I would suggest leaving it on the ground because the base and frame are light, meaning it can slowly inch its way off a shelf given time and the right circumstances. I've been running it off the usb cord it came with and haven't tried batteries. Someone else's review said theirs stopped working, so if mine fails then I'll update my review, but so far it's totally worth it.

Don't buy returned/slight package damage version
I purchased one that was returned for a cheaper price. Package was destroyed, not "slightly damaged". Instructions were 100% in a foreign language. You must use batteries to make it work., idk why the magnet doesn't work without a battery. The white plug in cord was sliced so that the end piece was missing and is non-functional.Do not recommend buying this in any way, shape, or form OTHER then brand new.I don't know how long the batteries will last, but its 4 AA, so that's gonna go through a lot over time.

Works for awhile.
I like that this has a larger size, fitting phones with bulkier cases, but the metal rods rocking on the plastic stand wears the plastic away, which then inhibits the ability for the device to rock. It creates grooves for itself and can't move the phone through the whole swing anymore. If it was redesigned with a stronger material which doesn't get ground away, then it would be great.

Good product overall, but the plastic hooks holding the metal piece bent too quickly
I used this to rock my iPhone 6s back and forth to count my steps. My iPhone fit well on the metal piece. After a couple of months using this, the metal part dug into the plastic hooks. The hooks had grooves/changed shape overall and thus it was more difficult for the phone to rock. Eventually the plastic hooks were so engraved that it could no longer rock.

Works fine for Pokemon Go Adventure Sync
I use this for hatching eggs with Pokemon Go Adventure Sync. On my iPhone 8 Plus, it works fine and gives 5.6 km/hour. My wife had mixed results with her Galaxy S9 - sometimes the steps weren't recognized at all. We think this may be due to phone placement, but she gave up before determining if there was a specific usage pattern that worked. The only reason I'm deducting a star is because it makes a slight rocking noise which makes it hard for me to fall asleep when the device is functioning on the table by my bed. It would be nice if there were some sort of bearings to help with this, though I'm sure that would increase the price a little bit.Another downside is that you can't really charge a phone while it is in use. An interesting mod would be to try to attach a wireless charging plate to the back, but I don't know if the metal cage would interfere.

Must have for Pokémon GO
I bought it for hatching eggs and walking buddies for candy in Pokémon GO. It works perfect on my IPhone XS Max. I bought two one for fiancé and one for myself and they both work great. It does 7,290 steps per hour which is 3.1 miles per hour in the apple health app.Even if it only lasts a few weeks it’s worth it for $16.
