I was excited to have my new iPhone XR so that I could continue recording my vlog videos, but now have better quality picture in my video. The problem was that I couldn't find a microphone that would work in this new phone. I bought at least two other kinds of microphones along with two of the adapters because these microphones did not have the right plug into the phone. None of these would work! However I finally found this microphone which does not need an adapter but plugs directly into my phone and works great! My voice is a lot louder on my videos and gives me a quality recording. I definitely recommend this microphone :-)

I bought this item to use for video interviews shot on my iPhone 8 Plus. I was pleased that the mic worked right out of the box without having to download an additional app or change any of my phone's settings. I simply plugged it into my lightning port, opened the Apple photo/video app, and it worked. The mic comes with a nice compact carrying case.My only concern is that the cable going in and out of its inline circuitry cylinder seems cheap and too delicate. I plan to reinforce those spots with some electric tape.Sound is good relative to the low price. Good product for occasional/light duty use. Definitely not appropriate to lean on for frequent use or professional applications.

Just got the mic today. I have an iPhone X. This mic worked perfectly right out of the box. It was as simple as plug and play. Absolutely hassle free! Absolutely love it. I plan on using it to do live Facebook videos right before I hold an open house. This is EXACTLY what I needed. Thank you for making something that actually works!

I purchased this to start a YouTube channel and I have to say, the people that watch my videos HATE the audio. The microphone is way too "hot" all the time. I have to wear it around my belly button in order to have something usable. The windscreen does NOT make a difference in wind. There's all kinds of wind noise getting thru. I'd probably return it, but I think I've waited too long.

This product worked fairly well. I knew I needed to get a dongle for my iPhone 8+ in order to use it. It worked well for the video I recorded. I wish they could make it so that you could use it for something like a Zoom meeting or talking on the phone. You are not able to hear any sound while it is plugged into the phone.

The sound quality is very good however it has periotic static for no apparent reason plus the cord is way too long

Works pretty well. Have to speak quietly. It picks up noise even with the wind cover. Great buy for the money.
