Good fit and serves it's purpose. I wish the cup holder was slightly lower. It holds the cup a little high and allows the cup to move side to side a little. Quality material and solid construction.

I got these for my son who take martial arts classes. He says they are very comfortable and the protective cup stays in place. He really likes them.

I use these for Muay Thai. As compression shorts without the cup in, these don't work very well. This was expected. They have room to place the cup so if that is not in there, as you are moving around and going through your kicks etc they tend to chafe because of the loose material around the groin area. As for how they work with the cup installed though, originally I liked them quite a bit, but the more I used them the more I wasn't so sure. During sparring sessions, when I wore these shorts I would find myself in significant discomfort as the cup actually sits in a "pocket" right in the front of the shorts. This is fine and dandy to keep the cup in place where it needs to be......But....when you were a cup, by very definition of the name, it should "cup" the jewels you are trying to protect. This way if you get hit accidentally it spreads the impact to the outsides. Because the cup is in a pocket, there is fabric on the back side going flat across the cup and preventing it from cupping the family jewels. This keeps constant pressure on your testicles which is extremely uncomfortable as you start to really exert yourself during a sparring session etc. Secondly, it keeps it spaced a small distance away from your genitals. This prevents it from doing what it was designed to do. If you get hit in the groin (which can happen with an inexperienced sparring partner etc, or even just by accident) it doesn't protect you all that well. You still take significant impact directly on the testicles from the material going across the back of the cup versus the impact spreading to the outer edges of the cup. Finally, because of that gap, certain...components tend to move around behind it, I have seen (on at least two occasions now) where one of the family jewels etc was actually pinched behind the edge of the cup during a misplaced kick. Not a fun scenario. It's a cool idea, but could use a little tuning.

I want to start off with a couple things. I have never ever worn anything like this and pretty good sized guy so I was nervous going into this. I signed up for a martial arts class with my family and I needed a cup. This had really good reviews so I thought I'd take the plunge. Let me say that I was more than happy with how comfortable these are!!! I will also say that I got the size I actually am, not the size I'd like to think I am, or want to be. I'll use the word "firm" to describe how they fit, not tight like jeans that are too small. The cup: I was not sure what to expect so let me help those that have never worn these before. There is a little pocket in the front that the cup slides into so technically your junk never even touches the cup part. I tried putting these on both with the cup in there first and then just the shorts and putting the cup in afterwards. Both ways were easy. I am telling you, this is very very comfortable and I don't even notice it when I put it on.

I have a couple pairs of these Shock Doctor Compression Shorts with cup. I really like the way the shorts fit. I bought them for Tae Kwon Do sparring. I like them so much that I also wear them for extra support while snowboarding. The tight elastic fit means they ride up a lot less than normal underwear, though they do occasionally require minor adjustments. The only complaint I have is the way the cup fits. Maybe I am just shaped weird, but the cup does not fit as tight as I would prefer. Regardless of the loose fit, it still does its job and I can completely forget about it during matches. Overall, I think the shorts are a great buy.

Ich habe mir die Shock Doctor Herren Suspensorium Core Compression Shorts bestellt und kann nur sagen, dass sie wie angegossen passen. Der Stoff ist von sehr hoher Qualität und fühlt sich angenehm auf der Haut an. Besonders praktisch finde ich den abnehmbaren Hodenschutz. Man hat die Flexibilität, entweder mit Schutz zu trainieren oder die Shorts einfach als Compression Shorts zu nutzen. Das ist ein großes Plus, da man somit vielseitig einsetzbar ist. Ein weiterer entscheidender Vorteil ist, dass der Hodenschutz wirklich gut sitzt. Ich habe schon Unfälle gesehen, bei denen der Schutz verrutscht ist und es zu ernsthaften Verletzungen gekommen ist. Ein Trainingspartner von mir hat genau das erlebt und musste aufgrund einer Verletzung operiert werden. Sein linker Hoden ist faustgroß angeschwollen! Dank des gut anliegenden Schutzes und des hochwertigen Materials kann ich dieses Produkt nur empfehlen. Es verdient definitiv die vollen 5 Sterne!

I am a pro- MMA fighter, after damage to my `ACL` and a torn meniscus - my training was severely impaired, with on going sports physio / rehab I needed to find a knee strap that would suit my needs to continue to train at a decent level.
