COVONO Electric Dog Fence,In Ground Pet Containment System for 2 Dogs(Underground/Aboveground,Waterproof/Rechargeable Collar,Static/Tone Correction)

I have 2 huskies that are Houdini style huskies as they find and take every possible chance they get go escape my fence, either by digging out or jumping over it, and the last time they got our they were out for hours before we were able to find them so my husband said it was time we bought something that was going to keep them in the yard and wanted to give this type a try. I researched multiple brands and finally decided on this one, and it has lived up to our expectations thus far. Our dogs haven't figured it out 100% yet, but they're close. We live on a road that has had a large increase in heavy semi truck traffic, so knowing they'll be kept in my yard and not potentially getting hit by one of the trucks, or mistaken for wild animals brings peace of mind to me, and I wish we would have purchased one of these sooner.

This collar system is indeed junk. One collar of our set of 2 that we ordered randomly stopped working without our knowing, because the beep and the light still worked on the collar itself, but it didn’t work when the dog was outside, so the dog ran into the road. Not cool. Thankfully, we live on a cul-de-sac and there are no cars going by fast on a regular basis; however, the dog went into the road to greet other dogs that were being walked, which is not polite or safe for the neighbors walking their dogs, nor our dog. We are also worried about the dog going into the woods behind our house when there are coyotes and squirrels and other animals out there. Also not cool. A couple months later we realized that now both collars don’t work. I tried to call the customer service line that is listed on the manual, but it didn’t go through to a working number, so I guess there is no customer service line. Wonderful. Please don’t waste your money on this cheap product, and instead spend a little extra on a quality set. After the phone attempt, I sent an email to the email address listed on the manual and the company replied within a day, and are sending a replacement set of two collars. But we don’t know if or how long those will work, so we’re going to save up for a new collar system in the meantime. And just hope and pray our dogs don’t leave the yard again...UPDATE: As of October and November 2019, the company has been sending multiple email messages from different senders, some of which I will eventually have to block, that are extremely manipulative, with bribery, guilt trips, high-pressure, not to mention very poorly written, trying to manipulate and pressure me to take this review down. I have communicated back to them that I don’t appreciate being emotionally manipulated, or bribed, and that I am going to keep my review as is because I don’t want any more dogs to possibly get hurt or lost when their collars randomly stop working without the owner‘s knowledge, as well as to please stop messaging me about the issue. One of the senders replied back, admitting that he felt bad about sending me the manipulative email, but that he was trying to save his company from my bad review, basically. I thought that took care of it, but then I got another email from the company last night as well as one again this morning. Beware of this company at all costs. I have a bad feeling I’m going to get an email from a different sender every day for the rest of my life from them, until I take the review down, which I am not going to do. I have been so disappointed in absolutely everything about the product and the customer service. The only good thing that they have done is ship us two new collars extremely fast for free. But like I mentioned before in the above original review, we aren’t sure how long they will work and my husband has to check them weekly to make sure they are still communicating with the fence wire outside. We are saving up for a new set from a different company that is high-quality with very high reviews, which we should have done in the first place. Lesson learned. Please learn from our hard lesson.

Really small wire, breaks with the wind blow. Cheap plastic collar like you would find on a stuffed dog. One prong had a wire sticking out of it stabbing my dog's neck.

I wanted this item to work so badly, but it just didn't. Thank goodness I didn't waste my time burying the whole thing. I started to, then decided I'd leave it on the surface and see how it worked. The dog got out the very same evening. After giving it a few more shots, I returned this product. Would not recommend this at all.

Considering the price, one would think it had the quality of a name brand product. The directions were totally incomprehensible, The collars were total junk. We returned it and order the petsafe.edit: The petsafe product was easy to install, and when we had a problem with the collar, the company overnighted a new collar that worked perfectly. We used short garden fences (1 foot high) to mark her boundaries and after 2 weeks, we don't need to use either the system or the collar. She learned her boundaries and never tests them.

My husband loves this fence. He said it was super easy to set up and the dogs took to it right away. He showed the dogs where the boundaries were, let it shock them once and they never came up or crossed the boundaries again. So, it works amazing.

We already had the underground wiring in place, so this system was very easy to connect. We had a problem with one of the collars and the company’s customer service in support of their product was A+!

Super easy to install, extremely large range, and fast and friendly customer service. Collars hold a charge well and the ability to turn them on/off with a push of the button is convenient. Would definitely recommend.
