Bandai Hobby 1/144 HGUC Shutsurumu-Gallus Gundam Unicorn Model Kit

The Gallus, specifically this one, is a lighter, assault variant of the Gallus-J (the latter not appearing in Unicorn). Now, this blue magnificent bastard shows up for the briefest of moments in the last episode of Gundam Unicorn, but it's a glorious moment nontheless. With melee focused shield arms and salvo mines for direct destruction, watching this grunt-suit in action was a sight to behold.The same goes for the HG kit. It by far is one of the most striking mobile suits. With a unique head shape and double shield arms and an overall "light" appearance, the Shutsumuru really breaks the mold of a typical grunt.The kit is great quality too. In my personal instance it took me several months to finish but this is because I hand painted it/was a bit lazy. You could likely finish this off in a few days, assuming you trim the nubs. The kit comes with stickers for the Neo-Zeon insignia, and the reds. As far as "accessories" go, it comes with the shield arms and mine-line.Shield arms have three possible options: not on at all, leaving bare arms, at the sides (as you see in the standard picture) or "gloved," where the Gallus sports the spike shields like a nasty pair of fists. The backpack is the mines not "active." I would say the only pain is having to assemble the mines and attach them to the line itself.Articulation wise it's actually a bit average, at least in some respects. The legs can do some cool fighting stances but nothing excessive. The arms can do all sorts of positions when not wearing the shields, but, when wearing them, it's a bit more (naturally) limited. Also, when you rotate the shields so the Gallus can hold them, they have a tendency to fall out of the arm hole if messed with too much. They're supposed to be easy to take out by design, but just be aware.For me the Gallus is a trophy piece, especially since I painted it. But it's an excellent kit for sheer aesthetics and really well built.

I bought this kit back in 2014 it is a good kit but was missing some parts, All in all it is a good kit i like the Gallus series. Make sure yr box has all the pieces, so you can get a new one i waited too long so i could not return it.

Not a fan of some the stickers used, but i suppose you cant really get around that givin where they have to go. But once all completed looks pretty sharp!

One of the more menancing Zeon suits, this has a variety of weapons and options and is a must have for any Zeon fans
