100% better than OEM
Surprisingly better fit and protection than the OEM and you won't smash it by stepping on it which is why I had to buy one to begin with. Don't know why the two pack for $18 when one will last me for the rest of my days.

The best available protection for the Romeo 1!
Update: I just received my second order and decided to try sanding because cutting made previous covers too loose.I just upgraded my review from 4 to 5 stars and here's why... The cover, made of black natural rubber, withstood my sanding of the side that goes between the rear sight and the Romeo 1 on the P320 RX. I used several emery boards switching from wet to dry sanding. I sanded the outside part. I also lightly trimmed a curve into each edge to allow the cover to sit more flush to the slide. I then lightly trimmed the front lip so it fit better into my holster creating a tight fit that will only loosen when drawing the firearm. By sanding instead of cutting the notch, it's a tighter fit that won't come off until you want it to. If you wet the rubber and sand carefully you'll end up with a smooth finish. It's made well and it would be great on a Romeo 1 mounted with lots of space. It just doesn't fit the P320 RX perfectly because the rubber lip of cover won't fit between the iron front sight and the Romeo 1. I cut an opening in each of mine but it becomes too loose. I ordered a second pair and plan to wet sand the rubber lip in that area to make it thinner. It's still the best cover available. The plastic Sig cover was too cheap and rubbed the finish off the edge of the optic's frame, so this rubber cover is the solution. It's the best protection there is! I trimmed the front tab a little so my firearm would holster correctly. It fits well with Fierce Defender holsters, Winter Warrior and PL2 Mini Pyre.

Be aware you may have to trim the cover
I have my Romeo mounted on a Sig RX320 slide with suppressor sights. The cover will NOT fit the Romeo unless you trim the cover. The rubber is too thick to slide between the two. I call the company up and they told me to use an exacto knife but I found that a pair of very sharp scissors also work fine and was very easy. Slide the cover over the Rome and you will sort of get an imprint on what needs to be trimmed. After I trimmed out an opening, I found the cover to fit quite snugly, better than Sig OEM. I trimmed the second cover and made it ever so slightly larger and found that it too fit nicely, but not as snug. So I would do the trimming in small increments to make sure its a great fit. The company told me there was a video on their site showing how to do this, but I also think it should be mentioned here in the write up. I gave a 4 star rating because it was not mentioned, it could have been a 5 and I considered a 3.

Buy the DeltaPoint Pro model to fit the factory SIG Romeo 1/Pro
First off - quality is good. Second - as others have said, you do need to modify this or the factory rear sight won't let it sit down all the way. Finally - just buy the one for the DeltaPoint Pro instead. It's longer and fits great over the rear sight. It's a tiny bit loose but the Romeo 1 model will be as well once you modify it. Saves you having to cut and modify the Romeo 1 model. Either path you choose - these are good to have as spares for when you do loose the original.

These will NOT fit the Romeo 1 on an RX model Sig
They won't fit because the cover is too thick to fit between the back of the optic base and the rear sights (picture 1). The material is about 2 times too thick. This includes the Sig p320 Full Size RX and Carry RX models. Otherwise great cover. Seller needs to include this limitation in product description though. Thus only 3 stars. BTW, I did cut a rectangular notch in a cover (pic 2) to accommodate the rear sights and it does fit then (pic 3) but is a little loose.

Romeo1 pro Lens cap Shroud replacement protector.
Recently took delivery of a sig P320RXP compact. The plastic Romeo lens cap that came with the gun was cracked. The neoprene replacement here is excellent. They ship it with 2 covers. You can take an exact knife and trim the end that faces the rear sight and it fits perfectly. It won’t scratch your sight and if you drop the firearm it will protect the shroud. Not sure what the other individual reviewer was referring too. If you have a Romeo 1 Pro this is the best replacement protector I’ve found to date.

Fantastic Product!
Great product! Fit is snug on the Sig Romeo 1. I do not like the front tab however. It is wasted material as my Sig Romeo 1s are attached to MOS Glocks! I used an Xacto knife and trimmed it off in order to have a more seamless fit/look. Might be a good idea to make a version like this especially for MOS users. But, the front tab is acceptable for the Romeo 1 on my Sig P320 XFive. I did not trim that one off.Overall, a really good product that I highly recommend!

It’s made for a Romeo 1 that’s never been mounted on a gun.
This isn’t any good. Everyone says this product needs trimming to fit on a Romeo 1 sight. I didn’t have trouble with my rear sights getting in the way. But it will not fit on a Romeo 1 sight fitted on a gun...period. Most people at least have milled slides and this will not fit without serious cutting. It’s like they designed it to fit on a Romeo 1 sight that’s never been installed on a gun. At the very least they should engineer it to fit a standard SIG mount.
