These stainless steel salt and pepper grinder is great. It's sturdy and tall. Looks great and can make a fine setting in any dining table. There are good things about it as well as some flaws.Flaws- one single grinder needs 6 standard AA size batteries- so the pair in order to use it- you need to have 12 batteries right at your end. I don't had the 12 batteries so I had to rush it to local store to get extra batteries. I mean 2-4 batteries are fine but 12 batteries to just grind salt and pepper.Another one is that despite being electric- the speed of grinder is slow. I almost imagined it with a speed of a mixer grinder but it's really slow just like a manual grinder. So dont have too much expectations with the speed.Now what are the good things- they look very modern and stylish and make lovely addition to any dining setting.They are quite sturdy but still light and seems heavy duty.The ceramic blades are strong and crushed material is fine so its smooth.The container portion is okay in size thinking about the use of it but if you look at the size of these - container portion will feel small. Its nice that its see through so you know how much amount is left.Overall I love these but the batteries are too many.'Just to check the ceramic blades strength- I use it with cumin seeds and it worked fine.

I received these on Saturday July 1st and on Monday July 3rd they stopped working. The salt mill motor froze up and wouldn't grind at al. I removed the batteries (and these were brand new) and replaced with fresh and still the salt mill would not grind. The pepper mill motor move but would not grind the pepper. I tried to make it where it would grind very course to very fine pepper and it would not produce any pepper. I tried switching out each for the other and still wouldn't work. Oh well, you win some and you lose some. This one I lost on. I would say that these were absolutely beautiful and would have complimented my kitchen very nicely too bad they didn't work.

Grinders work great. Love you can adjust the coarseness of the salt and pepper. Sadly, my led light on the bottom does not work, but doesnt effect function of the grinders

Wonderful set when it works. I ordered in October as a Christmas present and was great from about January until May when we started to see problems with one of the grinders. As of July the one grinder is completely busted. I contacted the seller and they were very responsive and quick to respond they only thing that put me off from maybe ordering again in the future is the advertised free lifetime warranty yet when the seller replied back gave me a 99% off code to purchase a new set which is awesome but its not free. The description is misleading. I will however give it another try and see how it works if this set fails then I will try and find another one. As far as the grind itself I love that its both adjustable for Salt or Pepper.

Great pieces but one of them has broken and does not grind salt or pepper anymore...only 4 months in. We've changed the batteries and even changed which base it's attached to and it still won't work. Four months in is too long for a return now so we'll have to go searching for brand new grinders elsewhere.

This is a beautiful set of salt and pepper grinders that will definitely not only compliment your kitchen decor and look classy sitting on your counter but are also very simple to use, I did have a trouble putting them back together after taking them apart to fill but after looking at the notches, it wasn't too difficult and I'm sure with time it will become more intuitive. This great little set is nice and quiet and makes very little noise, there is a LED light that lets you know the grinder is working as well. The only drawback that I can see is that you can't put very much in at a time to grind but if you don't put much salt or pepper on your food then it shouldn't even be noticeable, it will hold as much as a small salt and pepper shaker really. These are great for someone who may have difficulty grinding from your typical spice grinder which can be challenging for those with arthritis or those that may have strength issues. I really love the look of the brush stainless steel with a very subtle Aicok stamp on each one which certainly does not take away from it's beauty. I have purchased many Aicock products and have never been disappointed by any of them and it looks like Aicok has done it again. I consistently see nothing but quality and aesthetically pleasing products from this line!

My wife loves these. I gives it 4 stars because they work well and the light shines on the food your seasoning so you can see if you are adding to much or to little. I will however caution people looking to buy this,... they don't hold as much spice as you might think. That small see through area is about all the spice you will get in these. most of the body is batteries and electronic's. Also,... you may want to shake off excess spice when your done seasoning your food because there will be a little spice left on your counter otherwise.UPDATE : GOT ABOUT A YEAR AND A HALF AND THEY DIED. AMAZON LISTS AS CURRENTLY UNAVAILABLE. I HOPE THAT MEANS THIS ITEM IS NO LONGER MADE. IF IT DOES COME BACK ON THE MARKED BUY BEWARE !!!

The Aicok salt and pepper shakers are quite nice and fancy looking. They're easy to use, assemble and dissemble, and refill. It's very powerful. They have this little lamp underneath that lets you see how much salt you're using. There were other comments saying that the only disadvantage is that the salt is used so quickly, almost all in one go and you have to refill often, and I had the same problem at first. But then when I filled it in with the crystalline salt and pepper (which I had to go buy) it worked wonderfully. The battery and motor take up the biggest part of the shaker, but that just makes it the more powerful. Other than that, these shakers are very modern looking and effortless. They're also great for my parents who are older and don't see very well, or don't have a lot of energy and strength to crank the manual ones.
