When I originally bought this I figured it wouldn't really be much because it wasn't very expensive and I mean it's a key fob camera with vision so what Can you expect. But I'll be darn if the video quality of this thing isn't magnificent for what it is and the sound is even as good and super impressed with the all around performance of this device and would definitely recommend it for what is worth.

This device is very discreet and looks like a real key fob. Using it is very simple. it is just a matter of depressing the top "lock" button for a couple seconds and then release. A blue light will indicate you have turned it on, then press and hold the middle "trunk release" button and it blinks and the light disappears, but the device is now recording. The fact that it records without any indication through lights etc. makes this very discreet and it is practically undetectable, which I really like. I also like that the sd card access port is hidden behind a cover. Overall picture and sound quality are very good and I recommend this for anyone shopping for this type of recording device. Very pleased.

No instructions. Not easy to get to sd card but not too difficult which is a good thing. Cheaply made. After the 2nd use, I put the card back into the slot and got stuck. Will have to open up and unscrew everything if I want the sd card back. It probably will no longer read or work properly if I take it apart.

I bought this spycam because I wanted to keep an eye on my personal belongings during large gatherings at my home, as some items had recently come up missing. It took me awhile to learn how to operate it. I had to watch a few Youtube vidoes, but once I got that figured out, it was very easy to operate. The camera does record in increments so for 1 hour of video, you may have 25 video clips to sift through. I did have an issue where some of the videos would instantly play on my computer, while others did not. That made me extremely frustrated as half of the videos would not play. After watching a quick Youtube video, I learned that if you encounter this problem, then copy the files over to your desktop. Once I did that, they all opened and played just fine. I did have a few videos where the audio was fine but the video had been frozen for minutes at a time, but that only occurred on 2 video clips out of 25. Overall, this really did work very well. I'm a satisfied customer.

Good idea,nice keychain with the camera.. it really looks a carkey with retractable key,while recording does not displays any light a good idea for recording without alerting a suspect ..Video quality so so not great,better at daytime ..night vision feature not really helpful,my camera key keeps charging and charging for hours and never Stops i dont know why i must disconect it after 2 or 3 hours..also you need to position it very well to record in the angle you wish.playing the recorded video is another problem it gets frizzed with windows media,vlc player and others players so I went to internet and downloaded a free video player named total player and now the recorded videos play better without stopping or frezzing.the operation buttons are not hard to learn if you read the few information that comes with the item as I always say if you can buy something of better quality and easy to maneuver.I think it would last for a few months depending the use

I appreciate the other reviews here and wanted to share my experience with the product so far.So, in full disclosure, I'm not interested in the still photo, motion detection, or night vision modes offered with this device, just straight video recording. Also, at $30 retail, I'm not expecting a long life out of this thing like I've gotten with my DSLRs and camcorders.I purchased this because I wanted a stealth recording device outside of my pen camera which is easily detectable as a spy-cam by many. When I tested the key fob, it worked as advertised out of the box e.g., no back cover removal issues as mentioned on other reviews. If I have any issue, its with the SD card slot's accessibility, but that's easily managed too with a little patience.

I saw a couple of reviews saying it is hard to open the back cover but it is actually easy. Just hold press and slide it down then lift when it stops sliding. I experienced it and it has a pretty good camera with a perfect mic. It catches the sound better than a phone audio recorder but the camera zoom is high so you'll need to put it a little far from the target to get a full plan of it.

Trial and error isn't too tough if you've used these kind of covert devices before, but the manual instructions don't match the button configuration of the actual device. Haven't been able to set up the proper time and date.
