SimplyProtein Plant Based Chocolate Chip Cookie Bars, Pack of 24, Low Sugar, Low Carb Protein Bar Light, Soft-Baked Texture

The company changed the formulation to vegan and they taste terrible. I can't even find the original chocolate chip cookie from Simply Protein. I even went to their website. Nada. I am very disappointed.

Why did they change it?? This new formula is absolutely disgusting and I can’t even return it!! What a waste of money, this is inedible!! 🤢

I have eaten these protein bars for at least 3 years and loved them. I had to control myself to eat only one at a time because they were so delicious. Not sure what happened but they changed the recipie. The taste and texture has changed and it has more of an aftertaste. I often can't eat all of it. Please return to the old recipe.

Unclear on the reason for the change, I thought the bars were just fine as they were.I prefer the flavor of the previous bars; but the new formula isn't too bad.See photos for the visual difference in the bars. They are EXPIRED!!! 3 months past expiration date - hard and crusty when they’re supposed to be soft cookie bars!!!

These are my favorite bars. I love the taste and texture. Great product, great delivery.

The ingredients list says it all -- high in fiber and protein and low in sugar, saturated fat, and sodium. I don't love the taste but it's not bad, especially considering how healthy it is, and, in any event, I'm not looking for taste; I'm looking for a meal replacement, or at least a partial one, and this is exactly that. (If I want taste I'll get a candy bar, which I almost never do).BTW, the two one-star reviews? Both from people who thought they were going to get four eight-bar boxes for $16 -- in other words, 50 cents a bar. (Really? Bought any bars like this lately?) Neither said anything about the bar itself. Without those reviews, the aggregate score would be much higher, and deservedly so.

The "cookies" arrived in good condition, tasted great to me, very secure packing. I give it an A+ : )
