Amazon Echo Dot 3rd Generation: Essential User Guide 2020 Edition Kindle Edition

I don't now what to expect for $2.99 but this "booklet" left me quite frustrated. There are s o m e tips but way too few.

This book is handy to help you get up and running. I found it useful for getting up and running. My only complaint is there are several typo's in this book and more grammer errors than an Author should make. It is obvious that the book was not proof read before published. In fact the publisher should be ashamed, putting a book out with this many errors is sad. That said, it has a lot of helpful info and is worth the price and worth the read.

I am happy that I purchased the Kendal copy so that I can continue to reference the material. If you are new, as I am, the material is well organized. I appreciate that additional help is available upon request by email.

The Echo Dot has so many uses around the home. Play music, get weather information, news, and sports results. The uses are endless. I like it so much I bought two of them. Adding a smart plug that you can control with the Echo Dot adds even more possibilities. I love the Echo Dots.

I had already started my home automation using Alexa. Plugs, switches , bulbs cameras. This eBook opened my eyesAs to all the different ways the technology can be used. Well worth the cost.

Admittedly, I'm no tech guru, and setup took me several hours to get things the way I wanted. The biggest challenge was getting it connected properly to wi-fi. However, as time goes on I have come to rely on it and really enjoy it. I may even get an Echo Show when Prime Day comes around. Now if I can just stop my grandson from asking Alexa to play Baby Shark!

The Amazon smart device ecosystem is both brilliant and chaotic because of the rapidly evolving technology, the plethora of semi-compatible third-party applications, and constant firmware updates. This book brings some clarity to the chaos. Well organized and clearly written despite a handful of typographical errors.

I love this little Dot... it’s like having a always there companion. No matter what you ask it can usually do the task. The thing that amazes me is that it responds so quickly.

Very compact device. I use it to play radio stations and to access mostly local information but there is a lot more that the Amazon Dot can provide...I just need to read the information emails and manual to start getting the most out of it.

Better if you live in America but still useful for beginners anywhere and those looking to increase Echo usefulness. I learned to connect calendars and that is going to be so useful.
