My First 1000 Words: Early Learning Picture Book Paperback – September 5, 2018

The media could not be loaded. I bought this book of 1,000 words for my son when he was four years old, and he still uses it! It has been both fun and educational. Each word comes with a picture, so kids can easily connect the image to the word. Sometimes they know what an object is, but not how to spell it—this book helps them learn the correct spelling in a natural and engaging way. It’s a fantastic resource to build vocabulary and encourage a love for reading. Highly recommend!

My one hesitation is that this book is written in British English. So I did read through the pages and write some changes in American English. For example, I changed the word "plasters" to "bandaids". But this is still the most helpful visual dictionary that I have found for my adult ESL class so far. It has the right amount of details -- not too many pictures so as to be overwhelming, but it still contains a large variety of words that are neatly organized by topic so it makes it possible for the students to pick up vocabulary of related words.

I brought this book for my 22 month old and he loves the book it is really very knowledgeable book that has all kinds of information for a baby to learn and develop skills and reach milestones

This is a great book for introducing words and pictures to toddlers and preschoolers. Additionally it’s a valuable book to use with children new to our country. Some ESL programs do not teach words useful in daily vocabulary.

I was worried my child's vocabulary was falling behind. We got this book for him, and he just exploded with words. Great quality and is great for car rides too.

I bought two books one for Grandma's house and one for their grandfather's house

My two year-old granddaughter loves his book. Pictures are good qualities great, easy to use.
