12v Universal Ignition Key Switch 4-Position Acc / Off / Run / (Start)

The ignition key switch looks good. However, I am not an electrical mechanic or engineer....it would help to get some more info like how to install it or wire it correctly. I have to keep trying to find manuals or more knowledge on how to install it and start my current useless outboard motor.

Switch worked fine until it fell apart after being on the gokart for about 30 minutes. Had to reassemble and re crimp the thing together. If you buy it, you might want to epoxy the plastic back housing to the metal part.

I replaced my original ignition switch on my 1996 Bayliner with this switch. Install was simple, and looked great. However, after 5 months and only a handful of times being used, this switch failed and caused a short in my ignition. Luckily I was at the dock when the switched failed and not out at sea! The price was fair -pretty average, but I would not recommend this if your looking for a long lasting ignition switch. Very disappointed in the quality of this unit.

I used it once and it worked fine. The second time I used it it fell apart. Taping it back up with electrical tape made it work one more time; after that it no longer worked. Later I wanted to return it but forgot that I threw it away in a dumpster so I am out of luck. In summary, it was a piece of crap.

Nice action with secure kit. Not for magneto.

Poorly made. It worked for about a month with very light use, now it is failing. It is very poor quality.

this product was poorly assembled. would not recommend. total junk

The ignition fell apart when installing. Junk.
