This is a nice bit of kit if you are grinding spices it is nice and heavy

Very handy and so cute
As someone who has so many kitchen gadgets, there are times I don't feel like using them when I want to do something so small or quick. So I decided to buy this mortar and pistle even though I have a chopper, to save on the hassle of unplugging and cleaning.I am really impressed with this product, I have used it for garlic, onions, chillies, you name it, anything that needs to be grounded or chopped it is very easy to clean and so small it can be stored away easily. Basically it's great for small jobs, I call it 'my handy friend'.Highly recommended.

Nice kitchen addition
Not sure why I didn't buy this earlier. Initially thought I'd just use on the odd occassion for spices, but it's come in handy for a lot of kitchen prep. Quite sturdy. I think when grinding some long pepper the bottom got a little scratched but for the price I'm very happy.
