Got this qeather station to replace my simple one.pros: big screenbacklightoption to use external power sourceweather predictioncons:eats batteries like crazy!looses connection to the wireless transmitter on a regular baseweather prediction is off. When it is outside nice the thermometer says its going to snow?!Verdict: I kinda wished that i bought a different unit instead of this one. The inside temperature and time looks like the only real thing that works

Don’t bother
It was supposed to be new, open box. Someone had put the wrong batteries and they had corroded in one of the pieces.

Inconsistant
Pros: Looks nice, price goodCons: Lower part of the display didn't work on the one I got. Display inconsistent, shows snow when it's about to rain and temp is 65F outside. Loses connection to the remote sensor, and it's only 10ft away. Reset the station 3 times yesterday.

Unreliable wireless monitor
Screen is nice and easy to read, but the wireless monitor that is supposed to transmit wind velocity, external temp & humidity, almost never works. Makes the product nearly useless. The unit is packaged with the National Geographic logo and indicates that it is guaranteed for a year, but there are no instructions to return the item.This item does not perform, and is not recommended.

Did not work at all.
Bought this for a Christmas gift and it didn’t work right out of the box. The wind speed never reads more than 4km/h. And when the sun hits it the temperature climbs to +27. Even though it’s actually -4 Outside. Terrible choice in weather station. No exchanges or refunds either. Stay away.
