Perfect replacement at a reasonable time price.

So for like 24$ you get four switches for your e30. The pros 1: cheap 2: all the switches worked...kind of... The neutral 1: different finish then oem. Smoother. I guess 20 years of plastic changes gets us here. I actually prefer the new texture. I know some won’t. The cons 1: you have to do a little work. I had to bend out the arms/springs on the switch body. They were pushed all the way in on mine. I suppose I could have just transferred everything into the old body case though. 2: initially I had two switches where the down buttons were intensely bright. After like 3 days the bulbs burned out. So I have 2 where the roll downs are burned out. I swapped them around to check if it was the wiring, but it was just the switches. So these switches get 4 stars. I feel like this is very fair for the price. Seeing as replacement switches go for about 15-20$ new, this is fantastic. I had 3 switches in various states of working. So this product was good for me. If you just have one out, you may consider looking elsewhere. If your an e30 hoarder, like having back ups, need to replace a bunch of switches, or whatever. These are pretty good. I don’t really care about the lights. I guess I could of sent them back, or contacted the seller... so that’s totally on me. Just so you know though, it took like 2-3 weeks for shipping, which is fine. That’s how it works with things like this. So I figured it would be a pain to send them, then wait and such...I have other switches so it wouldn’t be the end Of the world. But I’m good with it. I plan on putting e36 switches, so this is a good fill in till I get around to it.

The first switch I tried sid not work but the lights did and were super bright. The second switch I tried worked perfectly but the lights quit after a couple of days. Because of the price I'm not too upset. As long as the window operates I'm happy.

Fortunately based on other reviews the lights burn out pretty quickly. I say fortunately because within just a couple minutes of being on the switch buttons are HOT to the touch! These put out a ton of light so probably are overheating the tiny bulbs. Better to buy unlighted ones that won't risk starting your car on fire.

After installing I watched the lights go out on each switch. One at a time within 2 hours.

If you can wait for this item (it does take at least 2 weeks) these switches perform just as well as OEM parts. I rated 4 stars because of the wait. This is the second time I have purchased these since I have owened BMWs for over 20 years.

The quality of the switches is terrible, they don’t fit the factory holes securely, the springs on either side that are supposed to hold them in don’t have enough tension, and you can’t adjust them. Also two of them light up substantially brighter than the other two, and one of them does not work at all. You get what you pay for…

Perfect replacement for the bmw e30 only thing is the lights are brighter than the stock ones so if you don't want it to look weird then put 2 in
