Why spend a hundred (or more) dollars on nice shoes then slack on upkeep?I originally bought the single pack then came back for the 2PK.I needed a few more shoe trees because I had purchased some more high-cost shoes. I used to have Allen Edmonds brand shoe trees that worked very well for me, but I did not have to time to go down to the retail store to purchase them. So I did what we all do and went to Amazon. I bought these shoe trees due to the incredible reviews (clearly the highest rated shoe tree on Amazon), I got to tell you I was not disappointed, in the contrary, it was surprisingly impressive. These are a better build and better quality than my old Allen Edmonds shoe trees, which cost over $30, clearly an American-made product! As well they are the full toe design which is great for all style shoes. I put them in my Allen Edmonds and Ferragamo dress shoes and they fit great, I also have a pair of Echo brand loafers that are shorter but wider than my other dress shoes but the shoe tree fit fine.Initially, I picked up three sets. I was an an old man before I figured out I could and should afford shoe trees. So I bought plastic ones - which are almost as good as nothing. I recently bought some top quality dress shoes and decided they needed top quality care. So I bought some Stratton cedar shoe trees. Wow what a difference. When I take the shoes out for the next wearing, they look like the day I brought them home from the store. So I bought some more for all the rest of my dress shoes. Considering what I paid for the shoes, I can’t afford NOT to have quality shoe trees. You don’t buy a new Mercedes and park it in the street. Glad I finally caught on to what most other people have known for years.

Exactly the same as the Allen Edmonds version that I bought in the last month, down to the size stamp and the machining marks. Only difference is the name plate on top and the center rod is brass here, black on AE. Boxes are same shape, just different company printing.I purchased the XL version for my 11.5E and 12D Allen Edmonds shoes. This was originally based on the recommendation from the AE website when I purchased the shoes. Since these trees are the same size, they work the same. Will buy more for other shoes.

Bought these based off my prior purchase of a single pair of the Stratton cedar shoe trees. These are just as good as my first pair, with the addition of a “Left” and “Right” marking on each. Not that you need it, but when you’re just grabbing for them to put your shoes up it’s one less thing to turn them over to be sure you have the sides right. They smell amazing, and I’ve not had any issue with sap or anything like that. I now have a pair for each of my decent-to-good (from Allen Edmonds to Meermin Mallorca-Spain) dress shoes for work. More than anything they keep them appropriately dry and odor free. I’d definitely buy these again, and will buy them if I end up with another pair of shoes.

These are great shoe trees. They have a strong cedar scent which is pleasant. The connecting rod has a spring so it will fit snugly inside your shoe. These fit my dress shoes better than my Chelsea boots. I’m not mad at that at all because I purchased these primarily for my dress shoe collection. My Chelsea boots have a taller toe box hat these didn’t quite fill. They fit my double monk strap dress shoes as if they were made for them. I will be buying more of these for the rest of my shoe collection. The price is more than reasonable for the quality. These will no doubt last a very long time.

These not only work great, but are works of art! I was a cabinet and furniture maker for over 25 years, so am always impressed when something made of wood has such high craftsmanship as these shoe trees have. Made in the USA from US-grown cedar; even the packaging was top-shelf. I hope my nice dress oxfords can come back to life after applications of mink oil on the creases followed a few days later by the trees going into the shoes. The "hook" on the heel section makes it easy to polish my shoes, by the way. I'll be ordering another 2-pair set. I wish this company also made cedar suit hangers (the ones with wider shoulders to support the suit properly.).

Having already owned a few cheap pairs of shoe trees, I didn't see much of a need for new ones. But recently I bought my 1st pairs of really nice dress shoes from Allen Edmonds & Johnston Murphy. I decided to look into the best care for my shoe investment, and the information rabbit-hole led me here to these very items. I halfheartedly ordered a set that very night. Even after the box showed up on my front porch, I considered the probability of returning these. I mean, how good could they possibly be?Well, I thankfully decided to open the box. I was instantly welcomed with the pleasant smell of freshly cut cedar wood. Upon unwrapping the tissue paper I was captivated by the craftmanship of these simple shoe maintenance tools. All of my doubts were instantly erased. Not only that, but I swore every future pair of shoes I purchased would be accompanied by a new pair of these shoe trees. The quality is simply that good.

These shoe trees are high quality, and fit my two pairs of size 11 dress shoes well and as advertised. I'd say that the size range is fairly accurate. I bought the large trees for size 10-11.5, and there's just a small bit of "give" in the shoe tree, which says to me that I think they could be a bit too small for a size 10 shoe, but that's just speculation. Haven't had a chance to see how the hold up over time but so far I'm very pleased. They are less expensive than the other two pairs of trees I have from Nordstrom but I don't see any difference in the quality.

These shoes tree smell really nice, in a strong being in the woods right after a rain kind of way. The cedar smell is strong. Fits well. The package came way faster than I expected! Highly recommend.
