This is perfect size has a side u can put with out clothes and one with basically a cold and super cold side and strap comes in handy and this one actually does stay soft not like other ones. It's the best!

I was using heat on my back and was told ice is better. The old bag with ice was not going to work for me, so I did some research on cold gel packs. Settled on this one because of the reviews, and I can confirm it works very well. It holds its "cold" for at least a half hour but really more. I just haven't timed it yet, but I've watched TV shows while it's on and it's still cold. This means I can move it around to different areas, while it doesn't lose its impact. I love this pad. I bought the large one, and it seems to be big enough for my back, but would look into others; especially, when you're travelling, and you want to bring something smaller.

I'm so glad I purchased these ice packs for after my hip surgery! I had hip labrum repair/FAI surgery and these were the absolute perfect ice packs for afterwards. I got a large, half size, and the neck wrap- all with straps. Straps are key!! I got the neck wrap one bc it was the perfect design to be able to go around the entire hip and groin area! It was absolute perfection and worked just the way I hoped it would!!! I also had a lot of pain on the top and side of my hip and thigh so I was able to place the large and half size packs exactly where I needed them as well! I posted pics so you can see how having the straps allowed me to place the packs all around my hip and leg so well! Bc they are lined it was great to be able to do my first 20 mins lined side down, take off for 20 mins (placed on a towel on the bed next to me- did not have to be placed back in the freezer), and then I turned them around and placed the non-lined side down on me for the next 20 mins and they were still very cold!!! They are super easy to use once you have them near you and they are definitely heavy duty and seem like they will last a long time.Cons: You WILL need to lay a towel down under any part that will be on your bed/couch etc, bc they do get frosty and eventually wet/sweaty on the outside during the first icing. And place a towel over the top of them if you put a blanket over you. They are heavy! I've been non weight bearing on crutches for the past few weeks so it makes it difficult for me to take them in/out of the freezer to the room myself, however, I did put them in a grocery bag to make it easier to get them in and out and to carry them with crutches. BUT it is not easy to carry the 3 packs with crutches, you have to be coordinated to do it, but it can be done. So there is that.I added pics so you can see how awesome they are to mold to you exactly how you need them. I would absolutely buy these again every time. I wish I had these before my surgery! I play hockey and these will for sure be used a lot in the future! The pros outweigh the cons and I highly recommend these!

These are great right out of the freezer but you would be lucky to get 1 hr of coldness from them.I had a hip replacement this week and while the above item was fine during the day because I put blue ice packet(s) (already had in freezer) under it and fastened the straps around all of it. If you sleep with just the brace, it will be melted and warm upon waking. I put a thermos bag full of blue ice packets right next to my bed inc. frozen water bottles and kept switching out ice packets/bottles while the brace was on to keep in place during the night.I also bought the small one because i can sit on it flat!

Work well, The included velcro straps are helpful to hold it in place. Gets cold fast.

These are amazing, I love them. I bought a 2 pack because I have intense arthritis and nerve encroachment in my lower back at 40. They fit my back perfectly. They flex easily and it doesn’t stress the fabric. They stay cold longer than 20 minutes which is excellent. I’ll need these to ease my pain and inflammation over my years and I think these will work perfectly. These are the same brand my chiropractor uses. I also love the straps for when I’m driving or need to be doing things. Expensive, but absolutely worth it. I got one for home and one for travel.

Using on a broken foot. Fully flexible right out of the freezer, which is great for wrapping around my foot. I like that it has both plastic and fuzzy sides. Still need at least one thin cloth under the fuzzy side to prevent getting too cold. Stays sufficiently cold for about 45 minutes.
