Stainless painless cleaning
I have had a few different sink strainers including the much vaunted as seen on TV "Sink Shroom." I thought the "Sink Shroom" would be wonderful, but long hair gets wrapped around it and gunk - icky, stinky sink gunk - gets trapped in the sink shroom. I went on the hunt again and found this inexpensive 2 pack stainless steel basket type sink strainer plus another chrome strainer (without the larger lip). Both are great! SO easy to remove and clean plus these keep hair out of the drain and keep me from accidentally losing rings down the sink. I will never go back to a silicone gasket strainer or a "Sink Shroom" again. I don't know if this company also makes basket style stainless steel strainers for kitchen sinks, but I got two of those by Farberware and put those in the double sinks in my kitchen to replace the other kind I had with the grimy silicone gasket. I didn't think anything more about it until my husband walked into the room at full steam. "Were you the one who put stainless steel strainers in the kitchen sinks?" Uh-oh. I didn't like the sound of that question. "Yes, I did." He walked up to me, wrapped his arms around me and kissed me like he was auditioning for the lead in a Cecil B. DeMille film. "Those are the best sink strainers I've ever seen." It sounds dramatic, but when you have a husband who likes to cook and spends a lot of time in the kitchen as a consequence, a good sink strainer is a big deal.

Well-Made, Do the Job
We've been using woven-wire stainless steel drain strainers in our drains for years, and they've really done a good job of stopping everything that should not go down your drains from doing so. We've never had to call to have our drain lines cleaned out. The only problem with the woven-wire strainers is they all seem to eventually have the wire weave come loose from around the escutcheon where the manufacturer crimps the wire in place. Once that starts it's only a matter of time before the strainer comes apart, not to mention the broken weave catching on skin and towels. Deciding to give these solid strainers a try and place an order. Long story short: They work well. I can't help but feel that there's probably some extremely small amount of debris they aren't catching, but I couldn't prove it and I doubt if we'll ever have a problem because of it. Regardless, these are the way to go. They look nice, do the job and will outlast the woven wire strainers by orders of magnitude. Highly recommended.

Good looking and works very well
Our bath sink pop-up drain plug became dis-functional and had to be tossed. At this point, we had the choice of removing the entire drain fitting / pop-up assembly and replacing with a new assembly, or finding something to replace the pop-drain plug. The plastic mushroom works but looks kind of crappy. These little babies look like they belong in the sink (very handsome) they work well, and they are very easy to remove and clean (the flange edge is thin in order to seat properly, and could potentially cut someone trying to remove it from the edge. No problem - reach inside the basket with one finger and put a slight pressure on one side of the basket as you lift your finger. It comes right out.

Good way to keep drains clear of hair and other debris
Had tried some screen-type sink drain strainers, didn't drain very well. This drain strainer is better made and has larger drain holes, works well. I found that it sits in the drain area more securely after I bought some large rubber washers at the hardware store, cut out a little of the center area to fit the strainer and the drain properly, then glued the modified washers to the bottom of the drain strainer. I think the product would be improved if the manufacturer included some rubber washers that fit on the underside of the strainer from the outset.

The product itself is great, BUT the usage in reality...
They are nicely made, but the float for such small hole, as I've found out, is blocked noticeably. The in-flow of the water cannot match the out-flow down the strain, so the sink floods a bit, then leaving a ring of suds after it finally drained. The bigger size of such drain trap I've bought, has no such problem. So I think the product is nice, but just that it doesn't work as well for smaller train holes.

GREAT PRODUCT
I Purchased this a year ago, still good!. This has helped me to prevent my kitchen sink get clog. At the beginning I was reluctant to buy it because some reviews said it got rusted fast. But it is easy to clean and remove the rust. Just apply baking soda with a little water and let it sit for about15 seconds to 1 minute, then using a small brush or sponge clean it. All the rust will be removed.

best one i have found
Cleaning the bathroom sink drain is the most disgusting job in the house to me. Because of this, i have tried numerous sink hair stoppers on the market. I like this one the most. Its deep enough not to slow down water flow but shallow enough for easy cleaning- first one i have used that is not disgusting to clean. It fits well and is metal so it looks much nicer than a cheap plastic sink hair strainer. I highly recommend this product.

Fits 1.5” bathroom tub and sink drain opening... And plastic utility sinks.
Fits 1.5” bathroom tub and sink drain opening... see photos. And plastic utility sinks. Don’t have to worry about what could go down the drains. So easy to remove to clean it or when you need better drainage for rinsing and cleaning items without debris.
