My only shower and bath soap. Great for shaving as well.

This is my advice if you are using this product as is. You're really missing out on its true potential. And if you're one of these people who are buying African soap, especially when it's not directly sourced from a Vendor, who is in Africa, my biggest advice to you is to please use the soap as the people of the country do, which is usually always customized, i learned by being there and hearing people actually say that black soap is not supposed to truly be used as is ,it needs to be customized with some sort of natural oils and butters such as shea butter, because this is really harsh on your skin, and will eventually cause irritation, especially if you are not moisturizing your skin properly. Now I purchased this black soap to experiment and see how much I could customize it, but I have learned that there's no real fact sheet about the product and it's preservative, so I had to use natural oils which still helped tremendously. I would recommend you using some melted Shea butter, and if you're going to put this on your face, add a little bit of neem Oil, and if you can afford more luxurious natural oils, I would highly recommend cranberry seed oil., Or even hibiscus seed oil As well,but you can truly use whatever oils you prefer. As long ask, they are not comedogenic, and thou so many butters that you can use, I tend to like to add more of the Samla Yen im my productions, its much milder than black soap... But if you get your formula right, you can make a black soap that grows your skin heels, stretch marks reduces aging combats, rashes and even alleviate skin problems like eczema and psoriasis...Customizing your black soap it's truly the best dots on any skin care. It's a journeyLearn about your natural butter,and oils and incorporate them into your favorite soap. Make your own black soap paste. It is fun. I have too much fun but uh, this particular paste. I would not waste my valuable oil's and powders, but I would say adding melted shaper to in this will not hurt you, and we'll definitely help alleviate any dryness, but I'd rather start from scratch because I cannot tell how much preservatives is in here.Hope this enlightens you to start customizing!

The main reason I chose this is because I wanted a tub/bin of black soap instead of the bar. Well, it cracked literally the first time, so that defeated the purpose. There is no point rating how moisturizing it is, because let's be honest black soap is drying AF. But that's to be expected, it deeply cleanses the skin, and you absolutely must follow up with moisturizer. My skin has been acting up a lot lately, so I can't say this has helped or hurt. I have not been consistent (giving extra products a break) but when I get back to it I will try to update with my overall thoughts. Suds up nicely, no scent (to be expected with authentic black soap) I'm just so dang mad about the plastic storage tub I had to start with this.

Good for dark skin

I’ve been using this african black soap for awhile now, and it’s quickly become a skincare favorite. A little can lather a lot with some water. I like that it cleanses deeply and has this earthy scent with bits of charcoal in it. My skin can be a bit oily and I prefer something that will dry it out a bit which is why I like this so much. It feels like it’s strips all that oily gunk that a gentle face wash just won’t do. It also helps reduces my blemishes and my dark spots. I use it on my face, body and sometimes as a shampoo. This soap is a must-try for anyone seeking a natural, effective cleanser. Highly recommend!

The product is great. I have used these for several years and it cleans the body well. I even used it for shampooing my hair. It’s natural and it removes the excess dirt off the skin. My problem is they are giving you less in the jar. My jar looks like it is half full. This is quite different from what I had in the past. When I order again and if it’s less than what I am use to getting then I will find another company who sells this product.

Used it so much .Lasted 3 months .

It's a good product, but tell the makers to stop adding small stones in it to make up for the weight.
