Wilderness Poets, Almond Butter - Organic Raw Nut Butter (2 Pound) - Vegan, Gluten Free, Non GMO, No Salt, No Sugar

I wasn't sure whether to buy Artisana's Organics Almond Butter or this one-so I tried both. I'd honestly give it 4.75 stars. It is really good and I like how it is certified organic, has no unnecessary ingredients and comes in a 16 oz jar. I do, however, slightly like the taste of Artisana's Organics a bit better. I also like how you don't have to refrigerate Artisana's Organic. Wilderness Poets Raw Almond Butter, you will need to refrigerate. However, if you buy their larger jar (the 4lb), you get a pretty good price per ounce ($1.33 vs. $1.43 with Artisana's, if you buy the three pack.) The best deal is Artisana's 6 pack of 14 oz jars which is $1.22 per ounce which is a good deal if you want that many! You will also need to take into account if you prefer cold almond butter or room temperature. If you prefer refrigerated, get this one. It is very delicious. However, I think their company should match the price per ounce with their competitor.

First of all, the packaging was awesome, so that is nice. I felt important when opening. However even though the bucket/pale is aesthetically pleasing, it is not all that practical. It does arrive airtight and well sealed, but once you break that seal, you should go through the product pretty quick as the bucket does not have rubber guarding or anything else of the kind to maintain a perfect seal. This can be easily remedied by some engineering though. The product itself is a bit lacking. I shall compare it to Artisana. The product is very soupy and thin where as Artisana's paste is very meaty and thick. This leads me to believe that I am receiving less product. Also, there is no pungent nutty aroma from this spread. The almond smell is very faint. Another thing I would like to add... Is there only almond in here? It tastes like there may be a decent amount of... not almond. The labeling that claims, "May contain traces of other various other tree nuts" is not very re-assuring. I will finish the product and update if there is anything else to add.UPDATE: I'm so upset that you sent me this garbage. This BARELY tastes like almonds. What else is in here!??

Honestly, I might have given it 5 stars if the product description wasn't "incredibly smooth." It is delicious, but it's not incredibly smooth. It's not crunchy but grainy. I probably would prefer it more smooth but maybe that might affect taste. I like descriptions to be exactly what you get. This one is good but not smooth, it's grainy.Update:That being said, 5 months later, it is just as good. The oil doesn't separate as easily as other butters I have ordered. I wholeheartedly recommend this! I will definitely but again!

This is the best almond butter I’ve ever purchased, by far. It is wonderfully creamy and does not harden with refrigeration. It is flavorful and sweet without a hint of bitterness, and it is certified organic and bee friendly. It can’t get better than that. The lovely company name, Wilderness Poets, reflects the goodness of this product.

Kinda expensive... But super delicious and will reorder a larger size when I run out. It's a bit smaller than what you'd expect, perhaps 5 normal size jars in 1 big jar. Comes in a glass jar. Long expiration date. Needs refrigeration after opening. Mine did not "POP" when I opened it but didn't seem to be a problem.

Best Almond butter I have tried!! The taste is sweet and fresh. The texture is slightly granular but not crunchy and not smooth. I use it daily in my protein smoothie and for paleo baking.

The almond butter had a great flavor, and consistency, but the jar was not 8 ounces. That ticked me off because my recipe only called for 8 oz. I scrapped the entire jar, and only got about 7 oz. Wouldn't purchase again for this reason.

Really tasty. A little bit chunky. The only problem us the packaging, we spent 10 minutes trying to open the lit and we couldn’t, ended up cutting the lid... it was really hard
