Great yoga mat
Great yoga mat ..... if you want to take your yoga practice to the next level ... this is THE mat for you! I had been practicing yoga for the past 9 years or so .... and my practice felt extra special yesterday when I used this mat for the first time. I have slight OCD and the lines on the mat were oh-so-perfect to make my postures even better than before.I practice hot yoga and am used to using *yogitoes* (non-skid towel type cover) over my mat. I was a little apprehensive about slipping on the mat during some of the more difficult poses and kept my *yogitoes* by my side, just in case. To my surprise, I sailed through the class without slipping and falling on my face flat (well, my hands did slip a teeny-weeny bit while trying the toe-stand, but otherwise there were absolutely no issues) .... The map was pretty cushiony as well. I just hope the map holds good for a long time to get back my money's worth. The only reason, I took off one star was because, it was a tad difficult to get the mat inside the carry bag provided (my clumsy-self could very well be blamed for that) afterwards. My first use and I am a happy camper, err, yogini!

Ends curling up on me.
Just arrived couple days ago- have used twice for exercise class at my gym- very comfortable- sufficient cushion for me . Only trouble I’m having is in keeping the ends from curling up on me- so far it hasn’t stayed flat- had to place a weight or water bottle on the ends which has been a nuisance to do. Hoping all will eventually flatten out easily. FYI—didn’t have any issues with the mat having an odor, as some new mats do.

A quality matt for the price.
This was bought for a first time yoga student. He was very pleased with it, and I was too. The carry bag made it easier to take along with him. I would buy again.

Good, picture may be misleading
Overall a good yoga mat, I had ordered one that in the picture had illustrations of poses down the center that were absent in the actual product which was disappointing but obviously doesn’t effect the function of the mat.

Could be more grippy, but it's a decent mat
This mat is a good thickness. It's less thick than my plates mat, but thicker than the mats in yoga class at the gym. It looks nice and durable, but I wish it would last flat better after unrolling it and I wish the material had a little more grip.

Happy with it!
I didn't think it would be thick enough to support my knees! But it does! I'm in my 40s now and have tile flooring. Don't do squats as much anymore. Grip is pretty good too though I don't have a lot of experience with yoga mats. Even with my socks on I get good grip to-do down ward dog types of stuff. Like the guide lines as well.

Defective
Arrived today. Terrible conditions, there are two indents. Horrendous manufacturing, this is made up of two mats glued on top of the other. The two mats are not aligned properly (you should not be able to see the dark mat from the top). The two mats are also starting to separate from each other. Would give zero stars if I could. Extremely disappointed.

Try something else
I have had the mat for 2-3 months (used 3-4 times a week) and its just not of good enough quality for me to justify ever recommending it or buying another one. As you can see from the photos the mat has become deformed with bends, scratches and dents that will not come out of the mat. The bag it comes in might as well just be put straight in the bin when it arrives.

had potential
The etching is a great idea but the material is really cheap. I've used twice and it's lost its shape. Made of the right material, I'd pay $100+, but as it is, it's not worth $20. I'm not off to buy the yoga mat I should have selected the first time. I'd rate two stars but the hugely exaggerates the quality it's environmental credentials. This is about as eco friendly as a dolphin choking on a plastic bag.

Very Cheaply Made
Very cheap quality for a yoga mat priced at $60 (bought mine at a discount for $40). In contrast the $20 yoga mat I purchased from Costco is of far greater quality and needless to say, value. I am shocked. The construction is flimsy and unstable; but worst of all the graphics are not symmetrical (quite the distraction when one is trying to relax into yoga). It seems like the factory cut this mat from a very bad template. Very dissapointing product overall. I promptly returned it.

Beautifully Designed Yoga Mat
I purchased this mat because I do some stretches at home and some workout exercises without a mat. I was looking through the stores to find a modern yoga mat and this one just got my attention!I love the color! I personally love purple BUT not just any purple. I prefer a vibrant purple and this mat just qualified in my requirements. It is not a single toned yoga mat, it is purple on top and pink at the bottom which makes it really cute to look at. I am not a big yoga person but the lines on the mat seem interesting and it made me want to start doing some yoga classes. The lines, I reckon, will guide you where to place your body, your hands, and feet on specific yoga poses. It is very long and wide so there is definitely a lot of room to play with. It feels soft and very comfortable to lie on. On top of that, it comes with a breathable yoga bag and a yoga mat string which is really helpful in carrying the mat around.***
