It has a strong odor, so I recommend getting some Sink the Stink and soaking it in a solution of that for a day or two, then air drying it thoroughly. It may need 2 dunks. (Edit - it did need 2 dunks! Stinky, stinky product!)Other than the stench, I bought this as a gift (and so glad i bought it a month early so I could remove the smell before gifting it) for a friend who has decided to join me in my recycling efforts by buying tableware, straws, cloth napkins, and reusable dishware to use in place of plastics and disposables. This size will hold full sized flatware, chopsticks, a pair of reusable straws and cleaning brush, wrapped in a cloth napkihn, so it's a tidy, handy package to slip into backpack, purse, lunchbox, or briefcase.I down-rated it for the stench - it truly took effort to remove the smell and having to try several products before finding one that worked. Sink the Stink isn't cheap, but it worked where nothing else did. Had it only needed a bit of airing to resolve the smell, I'd have given it 5 stars.

My primary use for this is I carry my own personal set off furniture (utensils) for lunch everyday to work. I scoured Amazon for something to accommodate me and came across this. I didn't want my utensils to be rolling around or puncturing my lunch bag. This is long enough for the average size flatware and depending on the size of them (mine are exaggerated) it keeps them snug. Plus a great idea you can include your mini condiments (extras from a restaurant) in there. The texture and the quality are great and can fit at least four pieces of utensils, s & p packets and a napkin. If this review can help someone then great because I love mine. One con is I wish it came in black.

This pouch is pretty simple. Its constructed pretty well and it fits two 6.5" utensils, a standard take out set of chopsticks and three napkins rolled up. I also plan to put a travel salt and pepper shaker in there. The chopsticks just fit, but they might actually give the whole thing some more protection. I'll see how it goes, I would have liked to have a plastic container in a sleeve, but I'm optimistic about this and I like that I can wash it from time to time.Mine did not have any real chemical odor on it when it arrived.

Color is pretty, construction seems fine. It has held up well carrying my edc utensils for over a month in my purse...The problem is that my chopsticks barely fit, and have to be placed perfectly at an angle, then the zipper still has to be stretched around them a bit. I worry that eventually it is going to cause a rip.

My husband carries his lunch to work each day and needed a carrier for his eating utensils. Many carriers were poorly designed. This is perfect for fork, knife, and spoon plus I like the clip on the side for easy lunch bag attachment.
