The UN2 0.23 Mesh coils are a must for the Crown IV tank. It's as simple as that. Definately worth the money. Forget the stainless steel coils because they really hold the flavour back. The UN2 brings out the best of any e-juice flavour and generates huge clouds. I found that it may take upto 4ml of e-juice to prime the coil (mesh heating up evenly), but once primed the flavour is on another level. Don't worry, all mesh coils need breaking into before they're at their prime. In this case, the best way to break into your coil is to start on a lower wattage, since the recommended wattage is 60W-70W you should start at 50W building upto 55W, and trust me you'll know when it's primed. Only then should you move up to the recommended wattage. This will avoid burning the coil out quickly and instead extend the life of the coil. Your welcome :)

These 0.23 Ohm mesh coils started great for 5 days or so, & then blow me down, dry burnt hit after dry hit... The wicking material in the coils (both the mesh and the standard) seems to not be capable of handling 70VG/30PG juice (non sweet), i.e the vast majority of commercial premium juice on the market, & becomes clogged in a very short time. Vaping this with the 0.23 Ohm mesh coil, at 60W (60-70 manufacturers recommended settings), with 3 different premium shortfill juices (3mg nicotine salts AND freebase) I got half a day max on the second coil used before the dry hits. Unscrew the top lid of the Crown 4, put back on, X3 normal hits & then back to throat & chest burn on the 4th hit. The issue is widespread, forums often blame the beginner/inexperienced vaper for using all the wrong settings/juice mixes etc. Nope, it's a design flaw effecting many (check vape forums). I went through a coil a day, tried the fixes i.e roughing up the exposed wick surface, I always prime coils & steep in the tank for 20-25 mins before first go, & something between the coil wicking and the tank airflow just does not work. Completely redundant/non usable, returned & have gone with a competitor's product here on Amazon. Fingers crossed...

These are brilliant in my new Crown 4. Massive flavour, loads of cloud. 8 days into my first one and it's still doing the business!Seriously... The best vape, I can't put it down

Alot of people moan about coils not lasting very long if you're vaping at 30 - 40 watts its doesnt really matter but when using a really tank like this you have to take into consideration of your pg and vg levels in your juices. Higher vg liquids when vaped at the higher wattage e.g 60 - 70 will caramelize which will gunk up any coil on the marked. I steep my own juice and had this problem so I increased my pg levels to a 50 - 50 mix and now my coils last 3 times longer and closer to 2 weeks. Just think about what your putting in the tank before knocking it

Coils taste great from the off but 3 so far have only lasted 3 days each. I was really hoping these would last longer as I came back to sub ohm because I heard these last two weeks!

2 packets of 4 coils. Only 3 coils lasted longer than 1 day.After disaster with the first coil (primed for 30mins, draw the juice into tbe coil, moisten the inside) i found i needed to prime the coils overnight. 3 were good, 5 were awful.And when i say good, i mean 3 lasted longer than a couple of days.Never buy these again.

Having been vaping for 8+ years and using stock coil tanks at work I found these 0.23 coils last me ages and produce great flavour, they need a tank of e liquid through it to bring it to life and I start at 50w working up to 60w with not too much airflow from the crown tank

Bouth these types of coils from different supplier for an year long now, and is 1st time when I come on amazon to purchase the same type of coils. Surprise, what I have purchased before from that supplier (not present on Amazon) was counterfeit. Now I feel what I have been looking for when I am vapping. Best recommended here.
