Perfect Solution for Reading in Bed!
I purchased the ThinOptics Universal Pod Case + Rectangular Reading Glasses specifically for reading in bed while lying on my side, and they have exceeded my expectations. Traditional glasses with arms always shift, press uncomfortably against my face, or even risk breaking when I rest my head on the pillow. These armless reading glasses solve all those problems beautifully. The design is simple yet genius. The flexible nose bridge keeps them comfortably in place, and without arms to get in the way, they stay put regardless of how I position myself. They are also incredibly lightweight, making them almost unnoticeable while wearing. The included Pod Case is slim and portable, so I can easily keep them on my nightstand or slip them into a pocket when traveling. If you’re someone who struggles with regular glasses shifting around while lying down, these are a game-changer. Highly recommend!

Small and portable
My husband was always without his reading glasses. They were bulky to carry around and it was becoming a problem. I purchased these to put on his phone case so that he'd never be without them (because he's never without his phone!). Unfortunately, his phone case didn't have a large enough flat space that these could affix to. That said, they fit easily in his pocket, and he carries them around with him everywhere. The glasses pinch securely on his nose, and they've become his favorite reading glasses as they work very well and aren't uncomfortable for him. Everywhere he goes people want to know how to get a pair for themselves! While they are more expensive than other readers, the size, effectiveness and portability more than make up for the higher cost.

Love my ThinOptics
I love my thin optics - the only glasses I use are readers and sometimes I don’t always have a pair with me. I discovered thin optics and stuck the convenient case to the back of my phone case - now I always have my readers. They are compact and are well made, a great value!

I have one on every keychain.
I keep these on my keychain so I am never without my readers. They work very well and are super convenient. The only down side is that they are not durable. Expect to replace them about 1x a year. They fold in the middle and after about a year of use, they will snap in half near the nose piece.

Handy af
I love these things. Ever since discovering thinoptic reading glasses I’m never go without a pair. I still keep the usual readers around but they’re too bulky to carry around on me. This case is great. It comes with two way piece of tape on the back but I used a small dab of superglue also. I do manual labor pretty much all day and I can’t have a ton of things in my pockets. I keep my phone in an otter box in my back pocket pretty much always. I’ve set on these things at least twice a day for….gosh months. This-is the second one of these I’ve bought. I bought the first pair with the case geez before Christmas so it’s July now, six months and it has got damaged but it still holds the glasses without them popping out. I just know I CAN NOT go without these so I ordered a whole other pair with the case two days ago, got em today. I buy the ones with the black “frames” now as so I can see them. The first pair was completely clear and I set them down and didn’t find em until of course after I ordered more. Seriously these little glasses are the best. Every time someone sees me pop em out and throw em on my nose they all get a kick out of it and have to ask about em. I forget I have em on most of the time well except when my nose got so sunburn but other than that I can hardly tell I have em on. They might slide a little bit but that’s when I’m really sweaty, again I work outside doing manual labor pretty much all day. If I gotta read something there always right there. They have a slight lip around the edge of them so I’ve not had a problem with mine getting scratched. Again I won’t go without a pair of these ever again. Ta hell with carrying around a pair of glasses in a case worrying about em getting scratched. Get the case or the keychain you’re sure to love em.

They work good but the smartphone attachment benefit is overrated.
These do work as advertised but Thinoptics should really clarify it's warranty. When you register your glasses the company states that the lifetime warranty applies to retail store purchases or those made directly from their site. I do not consider Amazon a discount store, it is an on-line store where companies and people can sell items at varying prices, like any other place. As these come in the Thinoptics box and is only fulfilled by Amazon, that should qualify for the lifetime warranty. As it is, its left as a question in the buyers mind, something Thinoptics can fix at no cost, just make the policy very clear. If a purchase through Amazon doesn't qualify for the lifetime warranty then the description should be honest and upfront with customers. No excuse for this gray area in the warranty policy. As short duration readers they work well. They fit my nose well but would not stay put for my wife no matter where she placed them. Thats ok because the website says it should fit most, not all. The lens quality seems very good and they are very light. You do need to make sure they are put on straight and that can take two or more tries since you need to flex them to put them on. With regular glasses you just slip them on and they line up, with these you need to do that. You also need to make sure they are equal distance away from both eyes and its surprisingly easy to have one lens closer to one eye than the other. You'll get used to it but its not just a stick on and use affair. They are very thin for sure. I did notice glare if there is any light behind you. An anti-glare coating would probably help. Since the lenses are either flat to your face or slightly tilted outward at the sides, reflections from the side easily show on the inside. If you wear them for more than a short read, you will notice them on your nose as they rely on a slight pinch to stay put. If you sneeze, be prepared to catch them because they will probably come off, it happened to me. Same with smiling.Overall, I'm satisfied with them. While not a replacement for regular readers, they are thin, light and easy to take anywhere. For reading menus, instruction sheets and so on, they do a good job. As for the smartphone attachment, that sounds better than it works. While thin, it has to make the case slightly thicker so if you like a thin phone, adding something onto it probably isn't for you. Sticking the case to a tablet or laptop works but only if you carry that around with you or buy another pair (probably the intent). The price is reasonable as readers are getting more expensive all the time. A nice bonus would be a quantity discount, say 3 for $35 or something like that. I won't buy an extra pair at the current price. I am still trying to find the place I'd attach the case to where the glasses would reside while still being available. Realistically, the answer is multiple pairs but regular readers, while being larger do offer some advantages and being bulkier, contrary to what you'd think, are easier to remember and not leave in a pocket of your other short, pants or jacket. If I didn't have a pair I would buy another but I won't buy more to have around.
