Wish I learned this stuff earlier in my life
Essentially, this is a book devoted to explaining how various memory techniques can be used for more effective learning. It requires significant effort to learn these techniques, but if you are prepared for that, the rewards will be great. This book builds on all that the memory knowledge the author has acquired over many years, and my only regret is that I didn't read a book like this when I was younger and had more years to apply his approaches to studying and my personal life..

Learning how to learn
This is an exceptional method of learning anything. We learn things by seeing things in our minds - not listening to or saying things. This book has plenty of pictures to learn the things you need to learn. And also tells you how to make up your own pictures for what you need in your situation.

Fun way to learn
Lucas makes memory "memorable" and fun, great illustrations and methods. Should be taught in grade schools. Would have saved me hours of study time

Learning How to Leanr
I like Jerry Lucas, seems like a nice man. He writes well and this book really did have more to offer than earlier books, some new mnemonic ideas in the book, so good even for mnemonic experts to read.

Great book and very helpful!
This material and the way he presents it is wonderful! His learning systems are helpful because they save time and reduce the amount of repetition needed during learning.
