Nice wood stool -- looks like it is made from rubberwood (a common SE Asian hardwood) that is stained walnut color. It is quite sturdy, and the tag on the base says the weight load limit is 90 kg (200 lbs), but we have loaded it with 250 lbs and it seems fine (probably not something you want to do every day though unless you plan on reinforcing the joints - the wood itself is sturdy enough to handle the load). We needed a convenient foot stool in the bathroom, but don’t really have room for both a waste basket and a step stool. I was going to make something that could do this double duty, when I saw this foot stool. Looking at my pics, you can see a small trash can underneath. The size of the top is actually about 11-7/8 inches including the rounded bevel edge. The height is 12-inches, but the height to the support bar underneath is about 10-inches which allows trash to be delivered to the basket from the size of the foot stool if the basket is short enough.

I really like this stool!I purchased it because I wanted something to set my air filter on so it wasn’t directly on the carpet and I wanted it to match the stain of my bedroom furniture.I succeeded - this still is very aesthetically pleasing.This can be used as a steep stool though - it is strong enough to be used to climb into a high bed, to aid in cabinet entry or accessing high places. It can also be used to help an aging pet obtain access to places they can no longer reach on their own.It is wrapped pretty in plastic extremely well upon arrival.

This little stool is a life savor! I can now reach the top shelf of my cupboards. I was looking for something I could leave in my kitchen that wouldn't look gassy (like those pull out metal ones) and also something sturdy. This fit the bill! It is just the right height and looks cute sitting there. And the cutout in the top of the stool makes it very easy to pick it up and move it where I need it. I would highly recommend this stool!

It is everything I had hoped for and more. Great quality wood and finish. I bought it so I could reach the upper shelves in my smallish closet. Perfect size for my closet and now I use it everywhere to help me reach hard to clean items as I ready my home for the Holiday Season, such as my ceiling fans and those hard to reach corners!!I absolutely love this stool. The best part; I did not have to assemble it. It arrived ready to use and I did .

It came as pre assembled stool with its elaminated top. Looks ok. Legs looks ok not strong enough to use it for step stool. Other than that it looks great

I am a short lady so I have difficulty reaching in tops of cabinets or closets. I have one of these stools in every room where I have high shelves that I need to reach on a regular basis. They are really nice wood, easy to pick up with the hole in the middle and the perfect height for reaching those places that are just a little above my reach. If that is what you need, I highly recommend this stool.

This stool is really nice. Sturdy with a deep beautiful dark finish. I use it in my closet to access items too high to reach. I would definitely purchase this stool again, however, not from this site. The stool was delivered directly from Bed, Bath, and Beyond and the invoice said it was only $15! I went to BBB website and it was the same price, plus you can use your 20% off coupon.

it is a good step stool but I am giving it 2 stars because of the look. The wood is not finished properly. There are areas that are nicely polish and shiny and areas that are not finished at all. So, it serves the purpose but I would keep this stool out of view. I was expecting more from Bed, Bath and Beyond.
