I could not stand to have the bass hooked everywhere with the treble hooks (and also myself at times) so I replace the treble hooks on my topwater plugs. Sure I miss a fish or two but I can release them without holes in their sides.

I do mostly catch and release fishing, and was looking to replace the treble hooks on all of my lures. I have purchased three different sizes of hooks so far, and I am very impressed with the quality. Typically, this style of hook is fairly expensive, and I was leery of the quality to price ratio. These are fantastic however. They are high carbon steel, have large eyelets, and fit well in a fly tying vise (I typically add some modifications with deer hair, flashibou, etc.). I haven't experienced a drop off in the number of hook sets so far, but all of my lures are easier to handle in addition to being easier to remove from fish.

The coating on the hooks easily chips of. Found that out when I put a hook in my fly vise and when I took it out, the coating was chipped and came off. I've tied thousands of flies with my vise and never have I seen a hook do that before. I do not recommend these hooks.

I make some of my own trout spinners, and like to use single (vs treble) hooks if I can. Loop eye Mustad 3366's are getting hard to find. I think the singles hook up as well or even better than a treble, and it's definitely easier on both the angler and the fish to release the fish to fight another day if you want. These are great, with a large loop eye, makes a great spinner hook. Very sharp too. Sizing seems on par. I'm going to stock up!

The large ring is great for replacing treble hooks, they do rust fairly quick even after a freshwater rinse.

They work well I’ve put them threw some beating with some big fish they have there limits though the only thing that I dint like they rust so easily even when washed and put into your home...but not bad..

Got a pack with multiple sizes to swap out treble hooks on hard baits. This was what I needed most, depends on what you need. A little pricey but very good quality. You may need larger split rings and doing this is a real pain in the butt (and fingers)
