ThermophoreClassic Moist Heating Pad Size Large 14" x 27" High Heat pad for Back Pain, muschle Aches, and Recovery- Model 055

Bought this a while back, and I have to say this I really love this heating pad. It gets pretty darn hot, when you have a back ache, this is the heating pad you want, love the large size, worth every penny.

Product arrived broken, switch doesn't work so it will not turn off. While I loved my last two Thermophore pads and used them daily for years this one doesn't work AND they will not allow returns defective or not. ****UPDATE**** Spoke with manufacturer, they said they'd send a replacement. Will change review if/when it arrives as promised. Product arrived as promised and as promised I gave it the star rating it now deserves. Over 20 years of using these this is ONLY the 3rd one, not bad at all!!!!!!

My dad was a Chiropractor and used these in his practice. They are soft, durable, have moist heat and a "deadman" switch as to never fall asleep and get burned. . I use it daily as I suffer from back pain. I have given 2 as gifts as well. I personally do not believe that there is a better heating pad product out there.

I never do a review (b/c everything I've ordered from Amazon has either been as expected, been somewhat useful, or returnable) but this product is useless! You have to hold down the "on" switch the entire time. I have purchased other heating pads from Thermophore over the years and you turn the switch on with the flick of a button and it stays on for the 20 minutes or so. This means you can turn it on, warm up the pad and come back it is ready to go. What good is it to have to physically hold a button down the entire time you heat it up and use it? Also, just realizing there are no returns on this product which rarely happens with Amazon products (except maybe when the seller knows their product is not good?) Finally, the size of the pad is too small and not quite what they advertise (it is under 14 inches and the heating pad does not fit well into the cover. It is noticeably smaller than other heathing pads I've ordered from Thermophore in the past. Do not waste your money on this product.

I have been using these heating pads since 1990. Most last a few years when the switch goes bad. It happened again and I got this new one. The switch is not as comfortable to hold down and it doesn't seem to get as hot, which is a good thing as the others would get too hot before I realized it, not burn hot but uncomfortable. This one gets hot enough and I am happy with it. Also the new cover is not as wide which made putting it on a bit tricky but it worked. Nothing stays the same. Overall I recommend this.

This was a replacement for a 13 yo pad only cause I stepped on and cracked the on off switch. Matched up in quality and size equally and I like the switch better.

I love the length of this heating pad. I wish it was a little wider, but not complaining. It works great. Shipping was great and there was no damage to packaging. Product was as advertised with zero surprises. Very satisfied customer.
