The book is great however it isn’t spiral bound as advertised.

Great ideas
A fabulous little book, with lots of bread recepies. I was especially thrilled to see a section on starting a sour dough starter.A word of warning- it's American so some things aren't very clearEg: 2 sticks of butter (?!!! lol!)Applesauce is frequently used; cornmeal and some other brand name items.Happy baking!

Very diverse bread book
What I love about this book is the variety of recipes. I love to bake bread and have numerous recipes that I use, but I was excited to get this book and try others. I love that many are whole wheat and some even involve soaking the flour overnight. The recipes that I have tried have turned out very well and I look forward to experimenting with some of the gluten-free recipes, as well.

Not impressed. I was excited until I read inside.
Not impressed. There are some strange comments in there. I hoped for more recipes without so much egg (we don't eat eggs). All in all, I don't plan to use it much. Might have to garage sale it or find a friend who will use it.

They loved it!
We bake a lot of bread with this book. My daughter's 3rd birthday party centered around the kids making shapes and sculptures out of the bread dough and eating it with lots of butter and honey. They loved it!

Overpriced for the content
This book has very little content. I was hoping for more ideas and plans but it is really only a compilation of basic recipes. There aren't really activities or verses, I should have returned it but instead tucked it into my Waldorfy book collection.At the very least, I will say it is better than the soup book. The recipes aren't terrible but there are not very many. The soup book was a dud.
