Chip, Dip and Finger Food Serving Tray with Six Compartments

A friend had one of these made by Tupperware. She said it was over 25 years old. I really liked it and found this one. It is very similar in design. Hers had a removable compartment underneath to put ice in to keep the veggies cold. This one does not. But, this one has a convenient handle for carrying which I like a lot. It is also a bit smaller and shorter so it fits very well in the fridge. Basically they're the same although I doubt this one will be around 25 years from now, but I probably won't either. Since I've seen my friend's, I would hesitate to call this one "Deluxe", but I'm pleased with this purchase and would recommend it or gift it. I don't think the price can be beaten.

It's an ok item, but it's much smaller than veggie trays I've owned in the past. Nowhere near as big as the one Tupperwear used to have. I ended up using it as a meat and cheese tray during the holidays and bought a bigger veggie tray.

I like this tray a lot...PROS: # of compartments for veggies, size of compartments, made with durable seeming materials, the lid snaps on airtight, it is flat so you can stack other things on top of it....except for one thing:CON: I can't fit a container of Trader Joe's Mediterranean hummus in the middle and still close the lid (the hummus container is too tall). The hummus does fit nicely width-wise, though, and when the lid is off of the container.

I bought this to try to keep more fresh veggies on hand since my kids are far more likely to eat raw veggies than cooked ones. This tray works well, and it's nice that the profile is low so that it doesn't eat up a bunch of room in the fridge. Good product.

This is nice for veggies and dip. Gave it a 4 star as the center part for dips can't be removed and I prefer one that has that incase you don't finish all dip you can pop a small container in the fridge easier then the entire tray.

the walls separating the compartments are about 3/8" shorter then the lid, liquids can cross contaminate if the container is tilted. The lid snaps on in 4 place but IT IS NOT WATER TIGHT! Liquids inside spill out and when in an ice chest water can seep in. I bought this specifically for going on picnics, then bought an ice chest specifically large enough to accommodate this tray. The first time I took it I lost twice as much money in food then what I paid for this.if all you do is put cut fruits and vegetables in for the kiddos in the fridge, it will work.Rather then fill it with cheeses, olives and meats, then put it in a cooler, just go ahead and flush that money down the drain and pick up fried chicken on the way to the picnic.I sent mine back!

I have an old rubbermaid divided serving/storage tray. Its great for taking crudites to parties but the high domed lid doesn't fit well in a refrigerator. I wanted something with a flat lid I easily could store veggies in on a shelf in the fridge for our everyday use. I store veggies in every section (radishes or cucumber circles in the center circle) I can take it out for lunch or dinner or snacks with a small dish of healthy dressing to dip in. When my belly's full I can simply snap the lid on it and store the veggies on the short shelf just under the deli drawer in the fridge. It keeps fresh veggie finger food (crudites) at hand for easy quick healthy snacks and meals. If they are easily available I'm more likely to be consume as alternative to chips!

These trays make feeding my four kids healthy food so much easier! I own four of these. They stack beautifully, take up little space in the fridge, and don't stain from carrots or tomatoes. The lid sits against the dividers so veggies stay where they were placed. It has four locks that snap tight, allowing me to use the carry handles with confidence.Now I peel & cut enough veggies to fill all four trays at once. I take out one each day and leave it on the counter and it is empty by lunch. Maybe I'll get four more and put out another tray for the afternoon.
