The colors are slightly off—more somber, more gray and browns. The picture of the rug has a slightly lighter, creamier background. The photographer appears to have used a greenish filter. The bluish greens are more blue. Flowers petals that look light gold or brownish green in the picture are actually gold brown and russet. Flowers with a khaki color are more gray in the actual rug. The flower in the upper right that looks orange is brown. Most disappointing to me is that the darkest red is a brighter, pinkier red. I'm really picky about colors, so someone else might not care about the color differences. Most of colors in the rug are more somber and cheaper looking. I'm not sure I would have bought the rug had I seen it in a showroom. It is definitely a plus to be able to peruse hundreds of rugs through Amazon, then have it delivered—for free! Overall, the rug blends in very well with my furniture and oak floors, so for the price I'm actually happy enough with the rug to keep it. Once I stop comparing the actual rug to the picture, I think I'll like it more.

Beautiful rug with soft muted colors.
I simply adore this rug! I bought it during the holidays to spruce up my kitchen with a cute, vintage table and chairs. It is beautiful and so soft on the feet. LOVE IT.
