Works perfectly with my Vietnamese coffee powder. I think people should use this more since it’s eco friendly because there’s no need to buy paper filters. Less waste, less trash, better for the environment. It’s also very portable, great for hiking or camping. The water flow can be adjusted somewhat, but I think it will work well with all strong bodied coffees. Vietnamese coffee is the best tasting coffee in my opinion.

I JUST started drinking coffee for the first time and I am already a coffee snob - wanted to drink my cofee differently to the average Joe :-) Somehow the idea of Vietnamese coffee came up and so I researched several options settling on this one for its cost as well as all the bits that came with it. The instructions are clear and the recipes were VERY TASTY! Really enjoyed putting a bit of condensed milk and having it cold OR hot.

On second use a needle like piece of metal on the handle stuck right in the tip of my finger which then bled. That hurt so I thought I would inspect the finish on the product further. I found the lid had poor finish on the lid, rough and in places sharp enough to cut fingers when washing .. I wash with caution. Other than that it makes nice coffee. I’ve changed the star rating higher because the seller has sorted out the issue in a very professional way. I suppose sometimes a product will slip through the net and I was unfortunate. However as I said it does make a perfect coffee and I am grateful to the seller for the customer service given … thank you :)

Have been looking for a portable coffee maker that makes good strong coffee. A friend suggested I try one of these and I'm not disappointed. The pot looks and feels good, easy to use and makes a great cup of coffee in about 5 mins from grinding the beans to tasting. I prefer a strong, black , robust brew but sure it would be great however you take yours.

Very happy with the quality! Due to triple wall of wholes it makes the water to drip slower and extract more out of the coffee, as it should do, IMHO. FAR BETTER than any plastic+cotton filter alternatives!

Took a ridiculously long time and I ended up cheating by unscrewing the top filter and manually stirring the grounds to encourage the drip. This was with the recommend ground coffee as well.

Got this for my husband, he loves it. Easy to use and clean. The quality of coffee coming out is very good. Quality of product is strong and steady when using.

I bought this because of section in the DK Coffee book saying it made strong coffee. With lockdown I am not able to visit my favourite coffee shop, but I did not want to go to the expense of getting a coffee machine - for a start there is not room for it in our kitchen. This little gadget, makes strong espresso coffee. Boil the milk on the stove or in the microwave and the job is done - great coffee. I have not yet make Vietnamese coffee with it - but I will try when I have some condensed milk.

Excellent high quality phin filters made in Vietnam. Takes a little to get used to but if it drips too slow the coffee is ground too fine and screw is too tight, but once your perfect the technique you get a wonderful cup of coffee.

Hace un café riquísimo pero no le doy 5 estrellas porque me parece un producto caro para lo que es. Lo compré porque son difíciles de encontrar en España y no me quería complicar demasiado la vida. El mío no está muy bien acabado, la soldadura se ve de baja calidad. Aún así lo estoy usando todos los días y me parece que está genial para cualquiera que simplemente quiera hacerse una taza de café ya se sea en casa, la oficina o en el campo.

I have bought it to use on liveaboards. And it works perfectly. Just a few minutes and a cup of a flavored coffee is ready. Thus far TNI King coffee looks like a good choice for it.

I bought this dripper in May of '22 & it is still working like a dream. I use it to make espresso, dark roasts and iced coffees. Super easy to clean and store. Great product.
