I use it on every run
I've been recently bumping up my mileage and really needed something to hold my phone/keys as sometimes my leggings don't have pockets / sometimes I don't want my keys rubbing against my leg. Overall, I'm pretty happy with my purchase. The belt is comfortable –– I've done long runs in it (12+ miles) without any issue or discomfort. It fits snuggly around the smallest part of my waist and can be loosened or tightened if need be (I'm 5'3, 125 lbs, generally wear a medium in tops, for reference). The leftover straps are loose, but they've never really bugged me. I just stick the loose ends back under the belt to get them out of the way (but they will hang, if that bugs you). I saw many photos of people showing all the stuff they can stuff inside of the belt, and I will say that I was slightly disappointed with how much the belt can hold. I put my iPhone x and keys in the main pouch and it fits very snug. Probably would not fit much more in there. In the little zipper I keep a small mask all folded up, just in case, and a little clicker alarm (maybe an inch and a half long) that I can use if I'm in an unsafe situation. It also fits very very tightly. I don't even try to put my pepper spray in the pouch. Instead, I use the velcro of the pepper spray (that is generally intended to be around your hand/wrist) and attach it on the side of the pouch, just around the belt. That works well. While I was slightly disappointed with how tight it was, I think that is also one of it's strengths because it keeps things from bouncing or chafing. Also, it does fit all that I need just fine (just nothing extra!) Overall I am very happy with this affordable purchase. It has made my running experience so much better and I will probably not be running any mileage over 6 miles without having it on my body.

Roomy, compact, no bounce
I love this way more than the Spi Belt! Great quality. Pretty colors. Fits great. No bounce running

I love it, but it rips apart
This Nathan Running Belt is both wonderful and also rips apart faster than I'd prefer. That being said, I have been buying this specific fanny pack in different colors for many years on repeat. The fabric it's made out of is stretchy and great for running and other exercise. It fits a phone, keys, and some small items (very tight squeeze). It's exactly how I want a fanny pack to look and feel for being active and exercising. That being said, I wear it for most of my day, and every day - I have to replace it once or twice a year because it does tear/rip where the fanny pack meets the plastic clasp and also where the fanny pack is sewed to the side fabric that connects it to the straps. I know it is crazy to buy something repeatedly that rips, I just love it so much. I haven’t found something better yet. If you buy it in the color pink it tends to be cost less but also tears faster than the other colors I’ve tried.

Buyer beware 4 months later belt is torn!!!!!
Let me start by telling you that I'm a fit 135 lb 5'6 woman with a 27" waist. In order to wear this I have to cinch it up and I used safety pins on both sides to hold the excess straps from flapping around. The pack itself is great for carrying your phone, keys, gels, etc while running or riding your bike. The problem is the quality of this belt. I bought it in March 2019 and by July 2019 (just 4 months later) it is already falling apart. I only use this at most 2 times a week while cycling to hold my phone. I have another smaller pack with an elastic waistband I prefer for running. The neoprene like material used on the sides of the pack seems to be a very bad choice. If Nathan fixes this defect it would truly be a fantastic belt. I love how the top zipper entry makes the accessibility super nice! It makes pulling your phone in and out much easier(especially while riding) much better than on the front of the pack. There is a separate zipper compartment on the bottom which I use to carry my chapstick. Top zip pack rule! If the belt had a stretchy elastic belt that would also increase the desirability of this wait pack. Nathan fix this issue! Not good business if customers are having to replace something just 4 short months later:/ I should have listened to the many other reviewers who also complained about the same problem...... live and learn. On to search for another pack that is more durable.

Perfect jogging belt
Perfect size to carry an iPhone, keys, doggie bags without being bulky like a Fanny pack would be. Has zipper for phone compartment, sleeve for key card, 2 pockets with Velcro closures for keys and sundries. Never sure what the loops are for but there are 4. Waterproof. Very comfortable, does not slide or jiggle. I’ve bought 3, they seem durable lasting at least 1 year. Recommend black as it won’t look dirty with wear.

Good for the right situation
As a person who has been active for much of their life, my faithful fanny pack finally needed replacement. My requirements is that it is not too large to flop and be a nuisance. It must be able to carry an iPhone XR sized phone, spare key, and a tube of glucose tablets (mandatory). After some research, I decided to try the Nathan. I have been using it 6 days a week for over 2 months. I will be replacing it with a different product as it isn't the right product for me.It barely fits the iPhone XR in the large pocket. I put the glucose tube in the small pocket and it strains the material as it is a tight fit. Because of these 2 factors the zipper on the small pocket is broken from stress. I recently lost something from the small pocket because of this.In general it was comfortable enough and didn't experience any other material issues. It is a "belt" so limited in exchange for snuggness. If you just carry 1 or 2 things, that are primarily flat and the size of an iPhone XR, it may be good for you.

updated model
I had one of these for 20 years and it finally wore out. The pouch on this new one is a little different, shorter but taller by a skosh. Works just as well though.

Stitching came apart after second use.
I purchased this to hold my phone while running. I run about 5km 3 times a week so not a long distance. The waist pack started pulling apart at the stitches after its second use. I had to sew it back together. Now after having it for 2 weeks the other side completely came apart. Very poorly made. I am emailing the company. I will update review if I get a response.
