Insulin Refrigerator Box, 2-25°C Portable Travel Reefer Mini Car Cooler Insulin Pen Storage Box (Upgrade Design)

I initially purchased a similar refrigerator box and was VERY disappointed, as it never reached the desire temperature. Unable to return it, I purchase this model by Dison. First it does cool to a legitimate 2 degrees C. During recent travel, the product continued to work off the battery for six-eight hours. The air temperature was above 93 F and the unit continued to register an internal temperature of 2-6 C. When I first unplugged the unit from AC electricity, it did not work and I was upset, but once the AC plug was removed from the unit, the battery did come on and the functioning of the unit was excellent. My only complaint is the connection of the cord to the unit is not snug and does fall out easily. I did have to monitor this on an eleven-hour flight. I would recommend this product for anyone who needs to keep medication cool. The interior chamber is large and I was able to fit two injectable pens of Forteo.

This is the model BC-300B selling elsewhere for under $200, and does not come with external battery. Their description / photos are misleading.

I received my product yesterday as promised and I am completely satisfied.

... both in a car (for a 4-week trip) and in the house. It is smaller than I expected, as it holds only 4 Lantus pens. Only drawback: its cover is very tight and hard to open.
