A decent little popcorn maker.
It's a good little popcorn maker and good value for money. It's easy to use, and quick too. I love popcorn and the fact it doesn't need any oil to pop it , means it is I could have a healthy snack if I wanted. The machine is easy to clean afterwards with a damp cloth . I don't use the scoop to melt butter as the corn is popping, as when I tried it, it was still not fully melted by the time the corn had all popped. It's easier for me to melt it in a pan beforehand. It also means that I can mix whatever flavours I want to add to my popcorn in the pan too. My son like his mixed with parmesan and garlic salt, or with cumin, chilli and garlic salt, whereas my husband likes his sweet, and I like mine sweet and salty. You do get the odd bit of popcorn that flies out and misses the bowl that I have to catch it, but I have a dog that has discovered a great game of trying to catch the stray bits as it flies out, so he's a happy boy .

Handy and very easy to use.
Its a compact product for home use. Works well. Easy to use. Easy to clean after use. Kernel keeps popping but downside is that popcorns don't go into cup or bowl infront, popcorns goes in all directions. Taste is good but if i put salt in with kernels, all the salt flow out before kernels hence creates mess. My product heat up and goes off after 2nd lot. It starts working again when cool off.Is it Value for money? May be and may not be depends how much usage you will have.

Great machine
This was a gift for my nephew at Christmas and he absolutely loved it. His parents didn’t love it as much because he would not stop making popcorn and their entire house had pieces of corn in every single room by the end of the day. In fact, he made so much popcorn. He filled the bath with it and sat in there until he’d eaten pretty much the whole lot. we also went to see the circus as a family a few days later, he brought us all bags of popcorn that he made using this fantastic machine. You should however, be aware not to add sugar or sauces directly into the machine. It does warn you of this on the instructions however my nephew ignored this and nearly burnt the house down the first time he used it. Also beware not to use it too much or the house will smell of hot piss. God bless

A bit dangerous with hot unpopped corns flying out
The design is nice and it looks good in the black. It heats up quickly but it is a quite noisy. There is the semi-circular funnel design where the popcorn comes out. However as it is a large area the popped and unpopped corns seem to fire out at the sides. Some manage to make it into the cardboard box and others just fly out at different angles. What I didnt expect is how hot the unpopped corns would be, as one flew and hit me on the arm. It was hot enough to cause a blister so I stopped using it after that. I still have a small scar now. If you have children keep them well away.I contacted the company who didnt acknowledge what I said about the burn but offered a standard refund . I tried to explain to them it's a bit dangerous with the unpopped corns flying out but I was just told it's a popular product. Not sure they even read customer reviews. If they tweaked the funnel design so it was narrower and funnelled down it would work much better. Tbh seems like some of the American ones have this design which is much safer.

Cheap but flawed design
I give this a 5/10.Pros:- In comparison to my last popcorn maker that used oil, this is remarkably easy to clean. A quick wipe with some damp kitchen roll and your done.- Quick to set up and pop a bowl of popcorn.- Good end product, the air popping method means you don't get any burned popcorn.Cons:- When popping, their is a fair amount of unpopped kernels that come out of the spout, carried long by the pops. Some of these then subsequently pop in the bowl from residual heat.- The spout design is just plain bad. around 15%-20% of the popcorn miss the bowl and end up all over the place. Even using a large popcorn bucket (sold on amazon, great product) that is then raised up on top of some books to be at the perfect hight to catch the popcorn, still getting significant spillage.Overall advice. if your looking for a cheap popper then this is probably good enough, but I bet their are better designed options out their at not too great a price increase.

Great product
Excellent item, not a toy that barely works…this actually allows the kids to make the popcorn properly and by themselves
