These are large, soft, and do not show when I get a bloody nose.

Bought these to mop my sweat while walking. Great.

I like these hankies pretty well. We hike every morning, and when it is cold my nose runs sometimes. I had been using tissues and keeping them in a pocket on a black mesh water bottle holder till I could get back home and dispose of them. I didn't like that I could see this big white thing stuck in the black mesh, so I was searching for black handkerchiefs. I bought these because they are 100% cotton and not something made of polyester. They are not made with a fine cotton thread, they are fairly loosely woven, but that isn't a problem. They are thin and a bit see through... also not a problem. On the first wash one of the hems had a complete blowout. Only one out of the six did this, but I have no doubt that the others won't be far behind. This really isn't much of a problem for me since I am only using them to wipe my nose, if they don't completely unravel it is fine. However if you were wanting to use them as a pocket square or something that is going to be seen, you might not want these. I still gave them 4 stars, because they are nice soft cotton, which is what I was after.

Looks great. Feels wonderful on the face. Machine washable and absorbant as promised in the posting. Recommended for me who sweat alot.

These black handkerchiefs were durable and the perfect size and weight. I bought them when my son got married and handed them out to the wedding party for sweat and tears! They washed nice, slight wrinkle resistance but I still ironed them.

The gents loved the handkerchiefs. It was my father’s funeral and I know it’s not popular but I knew they MIGHT need one and they did.

I ordered these for my husband to use at work. They are very thin and the thread around the edges comes loose very easily. The color is absolutely great though and they definitely keep their color well after several washes with hot water and dried on High heat. They are smaller than I expected as well. Hope this helps make your decision!

I keep a stack of handkerchiefs around for all sorts of reasons. These are sturdy and soft. I machine wash them in cold, and if I shake them before throwing them in the dryer, they come out wrinkle free. I smooth them with my hand as I fold them and they are perfect. They are pretty soft and more absorbent than the microfiber cloths that I tried.
